EXPENSIVE!!
We will not use again. The person who came out, said there was not a cost for what we needed done and he had to charge us an inordinate amount for something so simple. Then we had to have a friend come over and fix the repair!!

Hope Plumbing confirmed arrival to our house between 1pm and 4pm. They knew that our well pump was broken and we didn't have any running water. They called at 3:15pm to tell us they weren't going to make it. Extremely unprofessional!

When I called I told them exactly what part I needed installed and was told that they can't do estimates over the phone. They came out and charged $60(?) and for an estimate only. The fee is waived if work is completed. Well they quoted me almost 3xs what a big name company did. Needless to say I will not be recommending them for plumbing projects.

I contacted Hope Plumbing for a sewer replacement in an historic neighborhood. After assuring they could do the job, there were multiple problems: 1. The water line was cut and I, as well as a renter, were without water for over 24 hours. Rather than stay and repair the water leak that day, as I have been told most companies would do, they left the job site by 6, without an apology. 2. Once the water was repaired, they cut through the internet and cable line, resulting in a 15 hour outage. I work at home oftentimes, so this was an inconvenience. Again, without an apology. 3. Hours after the completion of the project, I went outside and detect a strong odor of natural gas; the gas line had been cut and I was forced to evacuate the house. The gas company came and found a cut gas line, and shut it off It is hard for me to believe that no one smelled the natural gas when the line was cut. One week later, someone from Hope is here to repair. I have little confidence that the problem will be resolved. 4. I had a paver pathway with historic bricks. Hope Plumbing buried the bricks in the sewer line. Hope's response is that they don't do landscaping, although I wasn't requesting landscaping, rather just the bricks. I called to complain and finally received an apology and an offer to pay for the renter's hotel as a result of the water outage. No other compensation. This was a horrible experience and I am telling everyone I know to stay far away from this company. I understand that things happen, I don't understand the refusal to compensate me for the substantial inconvenience.

After the plumber finally showed up it took quite some time for him to get permission to turn on water to the house and the cost was three times what I was originally told. We found out that water would not even get to anything but the outside faucets. This water was turned on and I asked the plumber to be sure and drain the water so it wouldn't freeze. We have had to repair two pipe breaks when we turned these lines on. The water obviously didn't drain . Lots of money for us to have to do a lot more work and repair pipe and clean up water leakage.

The plumber that game gave a very high quote for a problem with a disposal, well over $1000.00. I paid the service charge and sent him away. Broad Ripple Plumbing fixed the problem for under $200.00.
