Prices too high.

There was NOTHING wrong with service. The technicians were professional and did a good job. However you are charged a service fee whether you have them do the work or not. Which is customary in their industry. That said, you have NO idea of the cost until they get to your location. So you are out the service fee unless you get the work done. What are you going to do, keep calling plumbers for estimates, then take the best price? They charged over $550.00 to replace the "guts" and the water feed line on TWO toilets. Then they charged almost $600 to "snake" a drain.

Late for the appointment - 1 day job took 3, very unprofessional and had to have the work redone although it was very expensive.

The two very polite Hope plumbers were unable to locate or fix the problem, which caused my basement to flood. And I was charged $209 for their digging some dirt out of my window well. Another plumber designed a fix, which has eliminated the problem. And he only charged $150. There is no Hope in my future! Julie Slaymaker

Techs are slow and look for ways to void warranties so they don't have to warranty faulty equipment.

Charged for an inspection but did not say so on the bill, which I needed. Charged for three items of work but did not do the most important one.

My previous experiences with Hope were positive, but I don't know what's going on with them now. I had to repeatedly come back to them to get them to do the job that I hired them to do. And even then they didn't do it, extremely frustrating to do business with after asking and asking for them to do the right thing and after they promised and promised they'd do it. If they actually came back and did what they promised, this would be a positive review. Until then, I won't be doing business with them or recommending them.

We had a referral to Hope from a realtor. We called and a guy came out. He was here 15 minutes total, cut a hole in my wall and said he fixed the leak. They charged us $377 which we paid on the spot. He didn't leave a work order/summary and was told it would come by email. That week we never received the "emailed" summary of what he actually did. When we called to say it wasn't fixed they sent someone else out who looked at it and agreed it wasn't fixed but offered no reason or explanation for what his co-worker did and then asked us to do a leak test from our toilets with food coloring/dye and let them know the results. NO one reimbursed me my money and my pipe is still leaking. I cannot believe how we were lead to believe Hope plumbing would be great. The only reason they will be coming back is to fix what is wrong with my pipe, otherwise I'll be using someone else next time. Very disappointed
