There is no support with this company. I paid the 60 bucks ago with them and then immediately did a little bit research and then I canceled my test and reached out to them for a refund. This was over a month ago. I was on 13 September that I would have my refund within seven days and still nothing and have not heard back from them. There’s no phone number to call see if you have any issue you’re screwed because he sure don’t reach out to you or return emails and if they do email you something they don’t follow through
Response from Hone HealthSep 19, 2024
Hey Mike, you can always email our support team or submit a ticket through our portal. You can also request a call back at a date/time that works best for you and our team will be in touch. Not sure why you canceled or what you found in your research, but our team is always available to help. We also always refund people if the request follows our refund policy. Feel free to email me personally if this is a genuine review and you did in fact order from Hone: [email protected]

The process and the price is not worth it
It’s a really lengthy process. Once you finally make it thought jumping through all the hoops,
You finally speak to the doctor you get to do an additional test then maybe you get your testosterone. But youll pay close to 300 dollars then sign up for monthly payments. I found it a waste of time and frustrating. I have a regular doctor appointment next week and will just get
My TRT there. And they can just bill my insurance.
Response from Hone HealthSep 20, 2024
I always implore our guys to do their research and check-in on all other TRT options, including in-person clinics. Unfortunately, insurance won't cover treatment for most guys, but if you can get it through your PCP, that's awesome and I understand why you would take that route. I would caution that there is no guarantee your doctor will consider prescribing TRT to you, and may just factor in your numbers when prescribing. Hone doctors take into account your labs, symptoms, and overall health history when creating a treatment plan for our patients. The last two are often overlooked by medical professionals. Your regular doctor might refer you to a specialist as well, which can cost more and take a long time to set up an appointment.
That said, Hone doesn't cost nearly $300/mo. There are wide ranges based on treatment plans, dosages and medications, but the average cost is closer to $160-$200.
The biggest benefit to being with Hone is often what some consider the biggest pain point, and what you outlined–––our onboarding is not fast and takes time.
Why is that? We take ZERO shortcuts and abide by ALL regulatory and best practice guidelines set by the AUA and DEA. This means we’re extremely careful with who we treat and how we treat them. Confirmatory labs and often extra labs before starting are safety protocols that do delay things, but they assure that ALL patients are ready to safely begin treatment. Hone makes NO money off these labs or confirmatory tests, in fact, from a sales perspective it hurts us since we might not be able to start a patient on treatment if their labs or health aren’t in a good place.
Other companies and clinics skirt around all of this, offer discounts, and focus on onboarding as many customers as possible and just getting them on treatment. Adjusting dosages based on what the customer wants. After all, the customer is always right?
Hone doesn’t have customers, we have patients. And although we’re a business that wants to make money, our first goal is our patient’s health. If we can treat them safely, we know their business will be with us for the long haul. Other services aren’t built for sustainability.

you will go weeks without meds during your 3-6 month check up. They stop your meds during those times
Go elsewhere.
Response from Hone HealthSep 17, 2024
Hone never just stops meds for a patient.
If a patient doesn't complete their follow up labs and doctor visits, we will notify them to make sure these are completed in time, and Hone will always work to send bridge scripts to their pharmacy if there's anything hindering them from completing their follow ups on time. That said, patients must complete their follow up labs and doctor consults to continue treatment with Hone. The follow ups happen every 3-months, and are necessary to safely receive treatment. All of the labs, doctor visits, shipping of meds is covered by their membership.

Prescriptions were late or never delivered
Prescriptions were late, several times, lost blood work results, I ran out of medication two months ago, I contacted the Hone and they said they need a blood test. I did the blood test and sent it back and they lost it. I did an online dr visit and she said we are going to change your medication. Never heard anything but received another blood test. I completed the blood test and sent it back. 8 days later I get a text saying we need your blood test to be sent. I messaged back it has been sent. I told the representative I have not had any medication in over two months. She advised me once the lab work is done they will send out the prescriptions that the dr advised me to start over a month ago. Now I just got a text from the company again telling me I need to have another consultation with another dr. Still no meds. Absolutely terrible service but yet they take my money every month like clockwork. I been with this service for over a year. I have run out of medication 5 times. This will be the last time.Too many other companies offering roughly the same plan pricing. Contacting the BBB in NYC.

Company is a joke
Company is a joke, my test was lost in the mail being returned to them and they did very little to assist in rectifying the issue. I requested a refund and was only partially refunded despite the fault being with their choice to use the USPS and not of mine.
Response from Hone HealthSep 13, 2024
Hey Tim, delivery issues are out of our control, but we can almost always find workaround to fix things. I have made sure that you're fully refunded, and would be happy to assist you if you'd like to continue care with Hone.

Don’t waste your time.
This is absolutely the worst experience in customer service I have ever had. I began the journey 2 months and 2 weeks ago. 4 labs later (2 lost) and still nothing. I had a couple of people saying they were trying to expedite the process because I told them I was leaving the state at the end of the month. It came and went and still nothing. When I reached out to them it took 4 days to get a response. Then they said they reached out to me on the days I messaged them. I don’t count the generic automated reply that they received my request as a response. I travel for work full time is why I chose this service. Obviously if they can’t get it right while I’m sitting still I’m sure it’ll get worse once I’m moving again. Again, the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I almost feel like it’s a scam. What a joke! I feel like I wasted a small portion of my life dealing with these people. If I could give negative stars on this review I would.

Hey Sam, it looks like our team has messaged you back a couple times today, and was in touch with you last Friday. I would check your spam/promotion folders if you're not receiving those messages. Either way, feel free to email me directly at [email protected] and I'll get you connected with someone.

One of the worst online experiences Ive EVER HAD
They lied about delivery date of test had to get on them, they didn't reg my test when received tried telling me I didn't register it B.S. their website is not user friendly and their snot nosed brat of A Dr was More concerned with his title of DR than helping me as a PATIENT

I registered my test kit sent the blood…
I registered my test kit sent the blood test in and haven't heard a peep of anything from them in 2 weeks. I'm out money and not really sure they are legit. No one will respond to my questions or anything
Response from Hone HealthAug 18, 2024
Hey John, I would reach out to support who can get you a firm ETA, but I wouldn’t worry here. Initial results take 7-14 days, so you’re right around the expected turnaround time. I would actually check your spam/promotion folders for a “results are ready” email. Either way, Hone will message you when they’re available to view and we always make sure you’re updated.
