It takes a significant amount of time to start TRT, with everything being mailed, and the fact that they make you take 2 blood tests, it will take a month at least to get your prescription. It's 220 dollars, I went to a Dr in town and picked up a prescription from the local pharmacy and it was $50 for a month of testosterone and $20 for 6 weeks of anastrozole. If you can, get your local PCP to test you, some of them are very familiar with low testosterone. I'm 35 for the record and a Testosterone level of 100. Don't think youre too young if you have symptoms of low T, get it checked.

Hey Dillon, we're glad you were able to get the care you're looking for! However, there's a couple of things we wanted to add: the second test is a confirmatory lab, it's a safety measure Hone takes to ensure all patients are healthy enough to begin treatments. It's also best practice to test twice, and those standards are set by the AUA. We make no money off these labs, and it's purely for our patient's safety. Hone passes the cost of medications off to patients, so the medication cost will be the same or very close — even if you go to a local doctor. Hone will also send your script to a local pharmacy if you prefer. Lastly, there's a lot more that goes into receiving hormone treatment than medications, and ongoing care is required by most reputable providers. The membership covers all of this. Often times, even with insurance, the cost of regular labs and consults will add up. It sounds like you found a great doctor and we're so happy you're about to start your HRT journey!
