I have had no one contact me regarding the follow up of my appointment over a week ago.

Can you do us a favor and check your email spam/promo folders? We just checked with the Care Team and they've been trying to message you since last Saturday, but haven't hear back.
After your consult, Hone will send follow-up information about purchasing your treatment plan and next steps. You should have received that.
If you're not seeing any communication from us in your spam/promo folders, feel free to email me directly at [email protected]

Process is broken and awful service
My husband has been attempting to utilize this service for some time. Working in healthcare, I am familiar with how difficult it can be to get this addressed in office. He is now on his 2nd at home test since the 1st was mishandled and results could not be provided. This was after attempting to reach customer service and getting nothing but auto replies. The 2nd test was performed and sent out promptly, after being “registered” on his profile as instructed. He received a text when it was received at the lab and it said results should be forthcoming within 7 days. When that came and went, he texted asking for an update and was told there was missing information. If there was, how did they know it was his test and text him??? We are now at the 10+ day mark and he had had to “re-register” it, send multiple texts and emails and has just been told “the lab will work on getting the results now”. Same problem as first time. I am sure this will turn out to be a waste of $50 and a lot of time and effort.

Hey Pamela, we've requested more info through Trustpilot so we can look into your husband's case – we just need the contact info associated with their Hone account. If you can please respond to that request, our team will make sure to help your husband.

Dr was great
Dr was great, service isn’t for me. $2200 a year for a $9 script. All comms are through a trouble ticket system and here we are 48 hours later waiting on a cancellation confirmation
Response from Hone HealthOct 3, 2025
Hey Lyle, we're happy to hear the Doctor experience was great! The Care Team should respond within 3-6 business hours, usually much sooner for urgent matters. That said, we can always improve and if we dropped the ball here with comms, we need to do better!
Our team does want to clear up some things you mentioned in your review though.
Hone's membership service is not $2,200/year. It's $149/mo and covers all the required care for the level of treatment options Hone offers. This includes advanced lab work and follow up doctor visits every 3-months, free shipping on all orders, 24/7 access to the Care Team, and private access to Hone's online member communities.
We know our service isn't cheap, but the value and cost is actually more affordable that most traditional healthcare and other online providers.
Our service can also be cancelled at any time AND you will still have access to previous lab work and account history. Most services will gate keep that and lock you out once you cancel.

I Don't Belive The 5 Star Reviews. Proceed With Great Caution!
Oct 2, 2025, circa 5:30 pm PST:
I'm not surprised by what people are saying in the approximately 160 one star reviews. I can't believe how bad my experience has been, especially given so many five star reviews. In order to protect myself from what some folk are reporting, I've had my VISA card cancelled. To get a flavor of how it goes, please see my latest email to "name redacted" which is below:
"name redacted",
I've never received an invoice number from Hone, despite the charge to my VISA, yesterday at 2:59 pm PST. This was almost instantly charged by Hone after I placed the order. The only reference number that I've got from Hone is in the reply to my first email. It's "request 1585098". ADDITIONALLY, I still can't log in to Hone, even though I keep emailing about this. Today, at 3:09 pm PST, I got another text from Hone telling me to log in and complete the intake form. As Hone should know by now, I can't log in! When I've tried the alternative of unlocking my Hone account (because Hone has my email address) several times, both yesterday and today, a message pops up that says: "Unable to unlock account at this time. Try again later."
I've had enough of being messed around. Please refund the $65.00 that you charged my VISA card yesterday.
AND please respond to this email.
Yours sincerely,
Xxxxx

Hone Health's reply is that they need more information. WHAT DRIVEL!!! The review included the info request number (viz. 1585098) and other info that could easily allow them to find me in their system. Anyway, I filled out the form, here on Trustpilot, with email, phone, and a ref # (1585098). I'm so impressed it only took them about 2 hrs and 50 mins to reply this review... when I just don't hear from them when I email them. Draw your own conclusions.
Oct 3, 1:15 pm PST, dealing with Hone's reply circa 8 am today: Hone keeps spouting drivel! If they have the ticket number, then they must have the email address of to whom it was sent. Additionally, they could take a look at $65 VISA charges on Oct 1. There can't be all that many. As I've told Hone Health before now, I just want my $65 refunded. I'm no longer interested in logging in. Please just make the refund. (ALSO, my apologies to Trustpilot readers for dealing with Hone on your time. However, it seems to be the only way to get Hone to take any notice of me. Thanks)
Oct 6, 2025, circa 11:15 am PST:
I know this is tedious for everybody, but Hone Health is still pretending that I haven't asked for a refund. It seems the only way to get Hone's actual attention is thru Trustpilot, although they've completely ignored what I've put on Trustpilot so far. What follows is my reply to an email from "name redacted" that I received today at 9:25 am:
"subject: Please Refund My $65
Hi "name redacted",
Sorry about sending my last message from an email address that's different from the one I used when I ordered tests on Oct 1. This email is being sent from the email address used on Oct 1 (viz. xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx). You should also be able to locate me from these three ticket numbers, viz: 1590930, 1585098, and today's number: 1586765. (I'd give you an invoice number too, but I've never received an invoice number.)
In my case, I paid $65 and was then unable to log in the Hone website to complete an Intake Form. (No Intake Form was mentioned before I placed the order. Nevertheless, I tried countless times to log back in). Subsequently, given the incompetence encountered by simply asking for help to be able to login, the lack of any invoice number, and what I found in the one star reviews, I decided to ask for a refund because I had entirely lost confidence in Hone Health.
"You're asking me now, in addition to an email address, for my date of birth and a contact number. But, I'm asking for a refund. Those two things have nothing to do with making a refund. The Hone Health website gives the impression that refunds are routine, and not a problem if it's a fair request. The amount is $65, paid for an "Optimal Health Biomarker Test", charged to my VISA on Oct 1st.
Please don't send me anything more about logging in to Hone Health. Can you just please refund my $65?
Thanks,
xxxxx"
Oct 6, 2025, circa 4:25 pm PST:
Happily, got a reply email from Hone Health at 2:25 pm today saying they're refunding the $65.00, but it will take approximately 10 days. I've changed the title of this review. The original title had "Stinks!". It's really a bit too over the top if the refund actually happens. However, since Hone Health manages to charge a VISA card within seconds, but takes approximately 10 days to make a refund and, in light of so many other one star reviews, I hardly need to advise great caution!
OCT-15-25, 12:30 pm PST:
Today, am told that Hone has reported me as contravening Trustpilot guidelines. So now two names are redacted . Did get $65 refund.
Response from Hone HealthOct 3, 2025
Thanks for getting back to us with that information. Although we had a ticket number, your review wasn't connected to an email or name, for privacy and security reasons, we need to match that information with the ticket.
Our team has touched base with you and will help get you logged back into your account ASAP!

We're sorry for the experience here, but this seems like a really easy fix? Whether it's a password hiccup or something else, our care team can absolutely help you get logged back into your account. They typically respond to non urgent matters within 3-6 business hours.
I know it can be frustrating when you hit a friction point, but there's no need for concern here, promise! I would also check your spam/promotion folders for an order confirmation email.
There's no contact info associated with this review, so we made a request through TrustPilot for more information. If you can respond to that request for us, we'd love to help!

Bait n switch
1st you pay around $30 to be a basic member. Then you need to pay another $50 for a test that you either have the option of going to a clinic or having a certified person come to your home. Then you talk to Dr. Then they tell you you need to pay around $200 more and go to clinic again before they perscribe you the bare minimum of anything. I was a member for a month and never felt they care. Labeled me as depressed when I'm an extremely happy guy.
Response from Hone HealthOct 1, 2025
Hey Charlie, we're really sorry about experience here — we requested more information through TrustPilot so we can contact you to learn more.
I did want to clear some things up though. Our basic membership gives you exclusive discounts on select meds and supplements that don’t require advanced lab testing or doctor consultations. That cost is only $25/mo.
Members can upgrade to premium at anytime and receive advanced lab work and a doctor consultation with a specialist to discuss a variety of possible treatment options, like HRT or Peptides.
If they are prescribed treatment and decided to start care, the cost is $149/mo which covers all the required care for the treatment options mentioned. This includes advanced lab work and follow up doctor visits every 3-months, free shipping on all orders, 24/7 access to the Care Team, and private access to Hone's online community of over 30k members on similar treatments.
Hone never sends anyone to another clinic, ever, and there's no commitment to start treatment with Hone either. Members can cancel at any time and still have access to all of their lab work.
If you respond to that request for more information, we'll make sure to get you back on track!

This is the third or fourth request for…
This is the third or fourth request for feedback on my account. The provided treatment plan is either missing clear information or inadequate based on my blood work and current treatment. Asking me for 139$ a month for an estrogen blocker is not a treatment plan. It’s been chaotic to say the very least. If I’m misunderstanding fine, but if you look at all the emails that have been sent, they contain conflicting information.
Response from Hone HealthSep 28, 2025
It looks like our team got in touch with you on 9/19 via email with some next steps, but we never heard back from you.
We'll have someone from our Care Team touch base again and they'll sure you're set up for success — stay tuned!

Doctor said I needed to be retested…
Doctor said I needed to be retested that some numbers were not right and was supposed to put a request for a retest next thing you know I get a email that my plan has been approved and they are selling me meds. What plan when she said I needed to be retested.
Response from Hone HealthSep 26, 2025
Hey Freddie, this is on us; we could have communicated this better and more clearly. After a consult, your doctor will prescribe an approved treatment plan.
The second test isn't a "retest;" it's a confirmatory lab. This lab is a safety measure Hone takes to ensure all patients can safely begin treatment.
Once your doctor reviews and signs off on that, your first order will ship fairly quickly.
We get it, though, that messaging can be confusing. Hearing "Approved" sounds like a green light, and you're ready to speed ahead.
Our team will be in touch to help walk you through the next steps ASAP! Stay tuned!

Support is non-existent
Support is non-existent, you cant see your orders or what you are acually paying for, it's unclear what is shipped when, they make you pay for the membership and then stall while you wait for the actual meds. Your payment is 2 weeks ahead then they renew your meds and eventually ship them to you, but not at the same time or in one shipment. Super weird experience and you can't talk to anyone via chat or on the phone, only some doctors who are helpful, but not about how bad their website platform is. I would avoid them completely. There are other better competitors out there.
Response from Hone HealthSep 24, 2025
Hey CW, we'd love to take a closer look at what you outlined and try to help. We just requested more info through Trustpilot about your review. If you respond to that request we'll make sure a Care Team manager touches base to help. Whether you stick with Hone or not, our team will make sure to set you up for success!
