Complete waste of my time a full month of waiting for nothing
Ordered my kit over a month ago i do it send it in the lab says 2-5 business days for results i get sometimes it takes longer but the lab had it for 3 weeks then finally after emailing them repeatedly over and over and getting no updates other than being told this stuff happens get told the lab couldn’t test my kit i get my blood work done at the doctors regularly so i know that it doesnt take that long to analyze blood so im assuming it wasnt tested for a while and now they suddenly can’t test it this is unacceptable i only used this company because i thought it would be cool to do it from home what an utter waste of my time i will never use hone health again and will never recommend their services to anyone as far as im concerned this company is a complete disaster and should not be in this business

Hi Eric, due to PHI (personal health info) we can't speak on your results here, but our team tried their best to assist you with the trouble you encountered. Before this review was posted, the team credited you with a full refund of your order. We wish you the best on your health journey.

Over charged multiple times, No help from customer service
Hone was fine at first, But has gotten worse and worse over time, Was charged three times in one month for the same script (they didn't send the script three times) but just charged me three times for it. When I reached out to customer service it was several days before they responded but didn't fix anything just said sorry it must be a glitch. When they did refund the charges they just turned around and charged me again! All before even the 10th of the month. Customer service is very very bad and a persons time and money must not be important to them. Its all AI generated responses and no help once they have your money. I wish I could be more positive because things started off fine with HONE but they have consistently gone down hill.

Hey Russell, due to PHI (persona health information) we can't respond much to you here about the charges. That said, a member of our team will be in touch soon to learn more about your experience and how we can (and will) improve for you going forward!

I am very confused about this app
I am very confused about this app. Please explain how this works? What’s the phone number for communication? What’s the app I can download? It’s quest blood work covered?
Response from Hone HealthFeb 12, 2026
Hi Roxanne, we've requested more information about your review through Trustpilot. We have no patient records matching your name or support outreach from the contact info provided.
Our team is more than happy to help if this is a genuine review. Please just respond to that request from Trustpilot and someone will reach out.

Serious Concerns About Process, Accuracy, and Professionalism
I wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed decision before using this service.
From the very beginning, the process felt disorganized and inconsistent.
- When booking, I selected the option for in-home blood draw, which was advertised during checkout. There was never any follow-up to schedule this. I ultimately had to arrange and visit a local Quest Diagnostics lab myself.
- At the lab, I was asked for my health insurance card, even though the testing was supposedly included in the service I had already paid for. This created confusion about billing and coverage.
- After completing the lab work, there was no confirmation that Hone received it. My portal showed no updates for over a week, leaving me uncertain whether my samples were processed at all.
- When results finally appeared, the ordering physician was listed with a NY address that appears to be a shared office space. However, online searches show a physician by that name practicing in Boston. This inconsistency raised questions.
- Even more concerning, the date of birth on the lab report reflected an age of 71 instead of 60. That kind of error calls into question whether the results were accurately matched to my file.
- During the virtual appointment the doctor appeared unprepared and unfamiliar with my case. He had not reviewed my lab results in advance and asked if I had questions, rather than providing an informed medical discussion. The appointment felt transactional, and hormone replacement therapy was prescribed without meaningful explanation or analysis.
Overall, the experience felt fragmented, poorly coordinated, and lacking in medical rigor. For a service centered around hormone management and lab-based diagnostics, accuracy, transparency, and physician preparedness should be non-negotiable.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service.

Hi Vanessa, we would like to address each claim made within your review:
Any member can purchase and schedule an at-home blood draw. Hone will message members instructions on how to schedule this appointment after purchase. If this step was unclear, then that's on us to improve messaging and explain action items better after purchase.
That said, a lab requisition form will be generated after purchase, and this form can be taken to Quest Labs (a digital screenshot works) if you no longer wish to receive an at-home draw. However, that form will need to be shown at the front desk when visiting Quest so they can confirm your information. Without it, they would likely ask for insurance info. The form is available inside your Hone account under 'Files'.
When your lab results are ready to view, Hone will email you. If you’re not seeing an email, we suggest checking spam/promotion folders, as sometimes those messages can land there. Our team can confirm this email was sent to you once your results were ready to view. Lab results can take up to a week to be ready, so the timeframe mentioned is completely normal.
The information on a lab report comes from what the patient inputs themselves when onboarding with Hone. If there's a mistake with what was inputted, our Care Team is always available to help correct things.
It's not uncommon to discover that there's more than one doctor with the same name. It also isn't indicative of anything shady to find that a doctor has practiced in multiple locations.
We’re not happy to hear that your consult experience didn’t live up to your expectations. This is not the typical experience at all, so our team will be in touch to learn more about the experience.

Company driven by AI, delayed cancellation leading to unauthorized charges
I met with the doctor via video chat. I had completed a form and also verbally went over my health history with the doctor. She was peasant to talk with. She told me that estrogen does not cause cancer, however it can feed pre-existing tumors. She did not; however, address how it can cause old endometriosis cells could reactivate and cause issues due to the estrogen. I had to find that out via a Google search. I was considering canceling. The membership and the prescriptions are two different entities. Even if you cancel your meds, you still have to pay for the membership, until you cancel the membership. I followed all of the instructions to cancel, yet I was still charged and a prescription was shipped out when there was plenty of time for them to cancel on their end. I completed and submitted the cancel membership form online. I checked the next day and there was no email response confirming that my request was received. I completed and submitted the form a second time. Numerous days later, I have not received a confirmation of cancellation of membership. I have emailed their helpdesk, and submitted numerous contact us online forms. I have only received AI generated emails, none of which confirm anything has been canceled. I received an AI generated notice today advising prescription refills were shipped. The company had enough time to respond and not ship out the items. The issue is this company is managed by artificial intelligence, and it will likely take up to five days before you can reach a live person.
I just received AI generated responses stating the following:
We’ve received your request and it’s now in our queue for review by our Care Team. We are currently experiencing higher-than-normal volumes, so our response time may be a bit longer than usual. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience, we’ll be with you as soon as we possibly can.
Response from Hone HealthFeb 10, 2026
Hi Nicole, since there is no contact information connected to this review, we cannot verify it as a genuine experience. If you can please respond to the request we just made through Trustpilot, we would be happy to look into your claims.
Due to PHI (personal health information), we wouldn't be able to disclose what specifically you asked the doctor or how they answered your question. That said, our doctors offer the best possible guidance and recommendations based on their years of expertise. A google search won't always yield the most reliable sources of information, and we would just ask that you're careful when absorbing anything from the internet as definitive truths.

Nobody told me the extra start up blood…
Nobody told me the extra start up blood test was an extra charge.$50
No thanks
Response from Hone HealthFeb 6, 2026
Hi Chris, not every patient needs to complete a confirmatory test (second lab). Depending on the treatment plan, a confirmatory lab is necessary to check particular biomarkers. This is a safety step we take that ensures all patients can safely begin treatment. Hone makes zero dollars off these labs, and its the last lab you'll ever pay for out of pocket from us.

Absolutely horrible experience
Absolutely horrible experience. They keep charging me and I have never received anything. I did my labs and ordered my meds but 2 weeks later they never shipped. Then when I reached out they said they had a glitch on their side and would reprocess the order. Then they recharged me for all medications. Now a month later they refuse to refund me for medications I have never received. Their customer service is AWFUL. There are so many other services out there that do this work. Don’t fall for the scam of this company.
Response from Hone HealthFeb 5, 2026
Hi Anna, the orders that were processed and delivered before your cancellation request – were the only items charged. Items that were not processed or delivered have since been refunded. We can't speak to many more details about your review due to PHI (personal health info), but the experience you've outlined is not an accurate reflection of what happened. An agent will be in contact again to answer any further questions you have, but your account has been closed per your request.

Still no response from them
Still no response from them. No support. They told their care team would contact - that was a lie. almost 2 months of waiting. At this point the should get me a refund. Unnacceptable. If you dont have the logistic capacity of processing home test from east coast customers - don't ofeer it.
Response from Hone HealthFeb 5, 2026
Hi Alexandre, our team has been in contact with you and will continue you to help. They've emailed and left you voicemails. As we've mentioned, we can't disclose details on a public forum about your lab results. Please continue to communicate with the agent who has been calling and emailing you this week.
