In the Atlanta area HomeSmart bought Solid Source Realty Inc and PalmerHouse, two well respected firms and now agents are fleeing from there due to a host of reason, but one of them is the lack of broker support. Tod Von Brinegar (better known as tight pants Tod) one of the Atlanta brokers if and when he responds to your email, he will do so by not replying to your email but will just send a new email. Not sure why he does that and if you have to follow up to that email he will again send another email without responding to that email. In addition, they have agent support team that doesn't know license law and they most likely will be out of Arizona, HomeSmart's corporate office, but if you are in Georgia or Missouri that's not much help. The top reason I left was that I had signed a contract right before I had an operation and had a complication so I was not able to upload the contract into their portal. They make you send and sign a letter telling you why you didn't insert in 72 hours like you're in trouble at the principal's office.

John charged me 1500$ 2 years ago for a deposit, he never returned the deposit, he would show up and knock on my door. And maid a habit of showing up uninvited, so my bathroom had water issues and the water would just shut off, during shower, shaving, toothbrushing, I made the request to get it fixed on 3 separate occasions, he told me the water was "fine," it wasn't I had to put up with it for 2 years, the nail in the coffin was when he gave me an eviction notice, 6 days after I paid him early, he may come across as nice but is a theif!

This company is literally the worst place you could ever go to try and buy a house the service is terrible and they lie especially Christina Haskins!!! The house that we bought needed repairs, the windows that were allowing dirt and water to come in because they weren't actually sealed into the building itself. They were just sort of rammed in the holes and then also the shingles on the roof. And there was a few other things it was written into the contract that they were supposed to have professionals fix it but instead she decided to have her husband come out to supposedly fix all of these things which he obviously doesn't know how to fix or this wouldn't be an issue for us or our neighbors who were sold their house by the same people. The lists of repairs were exactly the same, Literally everything wrong with our house was wrong with theirs when they bought it which I'll never believe is a coincidence! Needless to say they didn't properly repair anything and are trying to weasel out of their contracted responsibilities and now that we've called them on their lies we've been met with attitude and more lies when we have video and photographic evidence that they did not do the job that they pretended to do .. so yea beware 1) the windows are not sealed properly dirt and rain water come through causing water damage to the house! 2)shingles on the roof were not properly repaired as a result.. more water damage from the storms we've had 3)everytime it gets windy the linoleum across the entire house inflates and lifts off the floor like a balloon 4)turns out none of the bathtubs are level so they spill water over the front and don't drain properly, the walls of the shower also flex inward if you touch them with the smallest amount of pressure, and the water fixtures weren't installed properly either as we discovered a couple days in when handles started falling off !! 5)they put a water tank the size of a gallon jug on the well for 3 large properties properties as a result 3 repairs in less than a year 6)stone planters were installed up against the house without installing the proper protection to prevent water damage to the house itself they were supposed to be removed, Christina tried to lie and kept saying they weren't planters even though they're were previously plants in them and they just ripped them out to support their lie !!! Oh and they didn't remove the planters either so now I have too play demolition crew! So yea she's a liar and his so called repairs are bs plus as an unwanted bonus he might creep / trespass on your property after it's bought and harass and scare young kids and try to order new owners around! A before anyone thinks I'm getting on here just to throw an unwarranted fit ... Not only were repairs written in to contract to buy but these two also wrote out and signed more paperwork stating that the repairs were completed and We tried to handle all of this in a civil manner from when we first got moved in and realized that christina had lied on paperwork about the repairs and we have been met with nothing but bad attitude, lies and her pointing the finger at us for their inability to do their actual contracted job!!!

We've bought and sold 5 homes over the years, two of them involved cross country moves. One assumes a "professional" would be just that, think again. Hands down the worst experience in home buying to date. NEVER would we recommend using this agency to anybody. The home is a disaster, and the agent is as unskilled and unprofessional as they come.

Worst experience of my life. Too many lies, and failures to list. Interview more than one realtor when searching for a realtor. I didn't. I trusted her and shouldn't have.it was a very expensive and stressful year and lesson. This happened 11/2024

The very fact that this company employs a deranged maniac like Mark Holodak tells me they will lie cheat and steal on transactions.

From day one working with HomeSmart and Jennifer Hill was amazing. She answered all our questions and kept us updated with any changes. She was very courteous, polite, and very knowledgeable about what was needed to sell our home. Our home was on the market for 42 days and sold without and problems. I would highly recommend Jennifer Hill from HomeSmart to anyone that is serious about selling their home. Thanks again Jennifer, you made this a great experience.

I would not recommend this agency. The agent knew that we were motivated sellers - after the listing, he said the market was soft and advised us to rent it out, even recommending a management company. He used our property against his to get an accepted offer on his own property and said it was difficult to sell ours because it was listed for rent - which he advised us to do. It was a terrible experience and huge conflict of interest.
