I've bought seeds from many companies. I haven't even tried to germinate these yet but but judging from their packaging where the pouch the seeds comes in does not even have the seeds name on it or on the seeds themselves i don't have high hopes. If you want to know what you have you have to keep the original 10x6 envelope they came in. Not only that but this is the 1st company I've ever used that gives no freebies. Not even 1 extra seed of what you paid for. I got their strawberry cough. I normally get the Dutch Passion brand which is totally out of this world, but they're expensive and it takes a long time to get here. Anyone that has ever bought a seed gets excited when they get here but most of that excitement is to see that extra couple beans they get to test. With reviews this bad you'd think they would toss in a couple extras just to help their brand name. I really hope these are really the Kyle Kushman seeds at least. I'm a fair guy though so if these seeds turn out amazing I will absolutely change my rating! Customers are used to a certain type of treatment so when they feel like they've lost when they open their very 1st pack it's hard to get them back.

Hey there👋🏻Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback 💚 We understand your concerns, especially as a first-time customer comparing us to other seed banks. Our seeds are labeled by the SKU on the packaging, and we recommend keeping the original packaging for strain identification. While we don't include extra seeds with every order, we do regularly offer promotions and free seed deals throughout the year. We truly appreciate you keeping an open mind, and we hope your Strawberry Cough seeds exceed your expectations. We'd love the opportunity to earn that updated review once you've had a chance to grow them 🌱✨

Hi there👋🏻We're sorry your first order took so long to arrive 😔🌱 We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to receive a later order before your first one, especially after being given an expected delivery date. We appreciate your patience and are glad our team was able to assist, even if we couldn't explain the delay. It's good to hear your seeds are getting started, and after 50 years of growing, an upside-down seedling is definitely a rare sight! 😄 We'd love the opportunity to look into your experience further and help however we can.💚https://homegrowncannabis.com/contact-us

The clones arrived stressed and never recovered. Apparently clones are way more finicky than growing from seeds. However, the support team was excellent in trying to help me revive them, unfortunately to no avail. I'm waiting for the replacements now. Hopefully they will do better than the first batch especially since I now have some idea about how vulnerable they are. Perhaps some warning about the challenges of working with clones would be helpful. Though probably not great for marketing, probably better than dead clones.

Hey Ed👋🏻Thank you for sharing your experience 🌱💚 We’re sorry the first set of clones didn’t make it, but we’re glad to hear our support team was there to assist throughout the process. We appreciate your patience and your thoughtful feedback regarding clone care and expectations. Clones can certainly require a different approach than seeds, and feedback like yours helps us continue improving the experience for all growers. We’re rooting for your replacements and hope they thrive in your garden! 🤞🌿😊

Purchased clones. Took 5 days to arrive. All were apparently over-stressed in transit due ro packaging failure to keep things in place. Customer service responded promptly, however, they insisted on waiting 5+ days for clones to recover. They did not. Sent replacements timely. This time only half were not viable. In order to not waste any more time I took the seed option instead of clones. These clones do not have the root structure pictured on their site.

Hey Jeff👋🏻We’re really sorry to hear about your experience 😔🌱 We understand how frustrating it is when the clones don’t meet expectations, especially after going through replacements and trying to give them the best chance possible. We do appreciate your patience throughout the process and hope the seed option gives you a much smoother and more successful grow moving forward 💚

Probably my fault for not purchasing express shipping. Clones spent to much time in shipping 4 out of 6 clones were stressed. Lost a GG4 and the Bananaconda’s and the other GG4 were looking pretty sad but slowly pulling thru. Most expensive and most stressed clones I’ve ever purchased. Live and learn

Hey Jeremiah👋🏻Really sorry you had such a stressful experience with the clones 😔 Shipping time can definitely be tough on live plants, especially during warmer weather, and we know how disappointing it is to lose some along the way 💚 We’re glad to hear a few are still fighting through and hopefully bouncing back 🌱 Wishing you the best with the survivors and future grows ahead!

MY plants look great when they arrived let them get some time to adjust 1 day in indirect sunlight. Next morning I planted them and gave a drink of water, that evening they both look like there was some issues, the next morning they both was dead.
Response from Homegrown Cannabis CompanyMay 20, 2026
Hey Roy👋🏻Really sorry to hear this 😔 It sounds like you gave them a careful acclimation process, which makes it even more frustrating to lose them that quickly 💚 Clone transplant stress can sometimes hit fast, especially after shipping, but we’d still like the chance to help and take a closer look at what happened 🌱 https://help.homegrowncannabis.com/en-US/need-help-here%E2%80%99s-how-to-reach-us-1543579

My clones, where lack luster! And that's being kind!

Hey Shawn👋🏻We’re really sorry to hear your clones arrived that way 😔🌱 We know how disappointing it is when you’re excited for a new grow and the plants don’t meet expectations. That’s definitely not the experience we want for our growers.
