I want to warn others about my experience with Elvis, a pool cleaning technician who was assigned through Home Gnome. After I canceled my service with Home Gnome because he repeatedly arrived late or failed to show up, he came to my house and offered to clean my pool privately. I trusted him and paid him $285, but after that he never came back and stopped responding. I have photos, text messages, and videos documenting what happened. I also believe Home Gnome should take responsibility for the professionals they send to customers. When a customer reports serious issues with a service provider, the company should investigate and take appropriate action to protect other customers. Based on my experience, I feel they failed to do that. I cannot recommend either this technician or the company.

It was easy to use Homegnome. The job was done expertly with without fail.

Easy, efficient, on time and, service delivery was very good!

They set me up to pay $300 for a “one time deep cleaning” of my pool and then changed the original quote to do a second “one time deep cleaning.” Then when i notified them of this they ignored me and then claimed that I didn’t complain in time for them to make it right like they promise. So, that’s lying about a quote and then ignoring my notification of this problem and finished by saying that I never notified them. Just some deceitful business practices. It was like I three $300 in the trash.

Homegnome finds professionals in the area to do the things you want done. They handle it so you don’t have to interact with anyone if you don’t want (which I don’t) so far all my interactions have been through the app. I was surprised that the app includes tipping in addition to the quoted price (this option doesn’t show up until payment time) but was happy it was there as the professionals they found for me did a good job and were worth it

We were going out of town and didn’t have time to mow our lawn so I searched the internet for help. Home Gnome was extremely helpful and got us setup with a fantastic service. Andre came the next day before we left and we couldn’t be happier with his work. Thanks for help, fast response, and great service!!!

This company allows customers to commit fraud by claiming they didn’t receive the services provided. Completed a green to clean on a pool and was paid 29$ because a customer states they didn’t need a deep cleaning. Provided the support with pictures proving the work was completed just for them to state they were unable to get in touch with the customer and that I wouldn’t receive the 250$ I was promised upfront for doing the job.
