My siding was started with Home Genius on the 23rd of September. Today October 23rd and project is not finished. Thought I was using a good company. But as it is one month later and job still not finished. Sad part about it is, 2 of our neighbors were wanting to do there homes. But as of today, Not with home genius. I wish I hadn't used them myself

Slick marketing... Casual to non-existent project management...Complete lack of follow through,AVOID!!! They were all over the sale (like a used car dealer, couldn't reach sales rep after contract signed), didn't coordinate material delivery as production manager had indicated, workmanship was so so (lack of attention to detail, elements of flashing and proper shingle coverage and placement), question crews qualifications as Owens Corning Top of the House Platinum preferred contractor, project manager's agreement to come back out to fix issue never happened, damaged property at site... Overall, my experience was disappointing. I felt pressured during the sales process, communication was poor, scheduling was disorganized, and the project manager was only on-site briefly during the installation. The behavior I witnessed from members of the installation crew—including urinating on my property and the presence of empty alcohol bottles in the work vehicle—was unacceptable. Although I do like the appearance of the new black shingles, the overall experience has left me regretting my decision to hire Home Genius. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.

I would NEVER use these people again. From the start they used scare tactics to get you to sign. The home office lied to us multiple times (and we have all the proof) from why it was delayed, permits needed etc. Just lie after lie and then ghosting. The project manager was a real piece of work. Tried to bully me into signing a certificate of completion when the project wasn't done. They tried to buy our happiness by offering... 1. A $100.00 restaurant gift card 2. $3,000 off the project 3. More free work for a 5 star review I mean...come on. I've written reviews on them (much more detailed) in various other spots. They are corporate and all about the numbers.

I replaced two large windows. On initial install one window had a bowed aluminum cap. I requested this to ne corrected. The installers came and just put a larger cap on the windiw. Now I have a large cap on one window and a smaller cap on the other. Project manager was given pictures to see the difference, their response, "everything looks good on our end". Totally unprofessional and not worth the price.

On the 5/25, I agreed for Home Genius to replace my roof. I was told a crew would come out on that Thusday for measurements and Friday the company would repair the roof. When I called Chance and texted him he finally got back to me telling me "Monday" Can someone reach out to me and keep me up to date about this. It is making extremely nervous not knowing what this company is doing. Please call me - someone - even if you don't have an answer. When I was sold the roof replacement project, I was informed that Home genius exteriors would cover all of the plants and gardens around my house to protect them. They did not. I have gardens around three sides of my house and only half of one side was actually covered for a short time which resulted in hundreds of dollars of plants being destroyed during the project. Not only were shingles dropped on the plants the roofers trampled the garden and threw a ladder in the garden snapping off a rosebush that I have been growing for years. I was not going to be home when the roofers arrived in Informed the PM ahead of time. The roofers arrived before the PM did and when he got there, he noticed that they didn’t cover the gardens so he did a half ass job covering about a third of the gardens and sent me a picture claiming the gardens were covered. When I got home, I found that only a small portion of what he claimed was covered was actually covered. I constantly informed him of every problem that came up as they came up, and I was blown off. when the roofing crew was sitting in my yard, throwing garbage and food waste in the yard. I was told that they take care of it and clean it up when I informed them that their delivery vehicle hit the Rock wall and left huge ruts in my gravel driveway, I was told it would be taken care of. It was not. My chaise lounge chairs were hung off the side of my back deck. i’m not sure why they thought that was unacceptable place to put them, but they didn’t put them back on the deck and I had to get them back myself. The PM had repeatedly told me that they would cover the cost of the damaged plants and that I needed to provide an estimate. He also claim that all the mess would be picked up and it was not.Then his manager informed me that they can’t pay off an estimate that I have to actually go out and buy the plants. Apparently the manager doesn’t know anything about perennials. It doesn’t seem to be aware that they can’t be bought at any time during the year and only when they’re in season and then informed me he won’t pay what the cost to replace them is or for my labor to clean up all the muscles that they have left in my yard . After a failure to get anything resolved with the PM manager, I reached out to corporate and was informed that they would escalate the issue and get back to me immediately. It’s been weeks and still nothing from corporate. So if you are thinking about using them for any home improvement project, and you have any plants or gardens around your house I don’t recommend it. They claim they will protect your plants and cover them, but they make no attempt to do that. they claim they will clean up your yard after they’re done they will not. Their crews just leave their garbage food scraps whatever laying around your yard and you get to pick it up. I am planning on siding my house in the next year and will not use home exterior genius after the mess they made of my yard during the roof and the complete lack of responsibility for the damage they did due to their failure to do what they were supposed to do. I’m out hundreds of dollars in Plant that I have been growing for years because they couldn’t be bothered to cover my gardens.

WORST COMPANY we have ever dealt with for exterior siding project ! We have been dealing with them since January with multiple promises of calls, dates and times of no shows and nothing promised worked on. Just ONE example of this is that we have four garage windows that were incased and caulked SHUT that we are unable to use anymore. The sales staff is nice until things don’t go correctly, then they will never contact you back as promised. You can not speak to anyone in the office directly, as all calls, no matter the location you phone, goes to a call center. UPDATE: After this review we were contacted and after several months we had our concerns taken care of. Apparently the delay was due to an employees slackness and after his leaving, this was handled the very next day!
