After a very bad experience with a realtor here in Mission Viejo, I was interested in a company that could help me get it on the MLS and to help me with the paperwork at closing. Homebay did all that and more. From the first phone call to the day my property closed, Homebay walked me through every step of the way and it was an amazingly simple process all the way through. By going with Homebay I saved $6000.00. I would recommend sellers to check them out before hiring a realtor. Very, very happy with my experience.

Selling with Homebay is hard work. You have to schedule your own showings, and be out each time someone wants to come over. I bought a lockbox to make it easier on myself and family for scheduling appointments. I would also verified that each showing was truly from a realtor by googling their number. We priced right at first and sold in 3 days, then our buyer fell out of escrow and it took us two more months to sell because we moved the price up $10,000. I did sell for $5,000 more the second time, but it took two more months so I’m not sure it was worth the price. Over all, once the paperwork came in our broker took over and that was a breeze. We also rebought through Homebay, which we got $11,000 back from the commission refund. In total it saved us $23,000 which we are using to put into our new home. I recommend using Homebay if you are a do it yourself kinda person, and you want to save thousands of dollars.

I think Homebay is a great service. You do the leg work, they do the paperwork. They know their businesses. Their response time is excellent. You save a ton of money plus you get even better service, in some ways, than a traditional agent.

It was an easy process and the savings were uncomparable. It's rediculous how much you will pay a realtor for this service. Unless you live in or close to the home you're selling it will be more difficult to use Homebay though as you are the one to show the house.

We did a little work ourselves with Homebay, and saved a ton of money on selling fees on a $895k home sale. They were very responsive and helpful, although a bit slower sometimes than having a personal listing agent. But the whole process went very well and we highly recommend Homebay.

All you need is access to the internet, read, and follow instructions. I would highly recommend Homebay and its team of experts.
