They didn"t send my order and did not send my money back. do not order from them

I ordered multiple items in July 2026, and soon received everything on my order that was not a bulb. My first frost date is October 15th, and I still didn't have my bulbs by October 1st. I called to see what was going on, and the customer service agent did nothing to help me. Then I received my 100 bulbs within a week. Healthy allium bulbs should be 5-7 cm, all 100 bulbs were barely 1 cm, and most were broken in half. Don't waste your time or money.

I placed an order for fall bulbs on 9/7/26. Connecticut had a frost on 10/6/26 - these bulbs need to be planted now. I called Holland Bulb Farms and was told that they didn't have the hyacinth bulbs in their warehouse yet, and I could either cancel those and just get the daffodils or wait until the hyacinth bulbs arrive - hopefully this week. Then it's likely to be a week after they arrive before they get them to their carrier for delivery. They ship the cheapest possible way, so it's likely to be another week after that. So it's looking like a minimum of 6 weeks to get their order. Inexcusable. RESPONSE TO THEIR RESPONSE: I can't imagine anything more miserable than planting bulbs in Connecticut in late October when it's so cold there's frost. My order should have shipped late September at the latest - this is a ridiculous response to that failure on their part.

I ordered 4 plants from them,they shipped different type of plant.The plants were totally damaged so I took pictures and send it to them. They didn't even acknowledged about the fault from their side. I requested to talk to their manager but no luck.Please don't waist your money, this company don't care.

I bought 14 packs of strawberry roots - that's 140 roots altogether. I planted them the day they arrived on July 17 and kept them watered. The mulch inside every bag was bone dry so that was a red flag. Not one has sprouted. Statistically speaking, at least a few should have sprouted unless they were all dead on arrival, which I suspect they were. In fact, I placed a previous order from Holland bulbs for rhubarb, some more strawberries, 8 raspberry canes and a horseradish. Not one thing I've purchased from this company has sprouted so, I'm done. No more. The prices may be attractive, but when you realize that you're buying dead stock for cheap, it's less attractive. The company offered me a credit for the dead stock. For what? To buy more dead stock? No thanks.

I had a good experience twice about 6 years ago so 5 times over the past few years I decide to give them the benifit of doubt. Unfortunately not a single time was a good experience. The company has gone down hill. Terrible quality bulbs and plants, bad shipping times - awful customer service, i- I feel this company wont be around long. The hassle was exhausting each time and who has time for that. I cant invest anymore money in hoping for improvement on their end Replying to HB comment. Thats a bold lie. Absolutely impossible you cant find me in your system, especially after the last massive error you made in my order. You know, when you waited until the end of planting season to send me my $150+ summer order, which came dead, like the previous 2 orders. I think youve been exposed so many times for bad business practices , lying and taking people's money I dont see how youre in business.

I do not plan to use Holland Bulbs anymore. I have tried them for a few years now. I thought my first order was just an honest mistake. I received many incorrect dahlias. Mostly were yellow if incorrect. I ordered again and received many yellows. I was refunded or credited on both but it does not cover the effort and lack of growth in my garden of the correct color. I am working on A pink and white garden. These are awful in there but stunning by themselves. Last straw was this years order. A Wittem dahlia and mom’s special dinnerplate. The Wittem came up white but incorrect variety. Yellow center. Not a ball. The dinnerplate was, you guessed it- a yellow variety again! I do not recommend unless you’re looking to create a yellow dahlia garden. No credit can compensate for the effort and inconvenience caused. Very frustrating.

Initial order received a daylily in terrible condition. I took pictures and emailed. They sent a replacement also in terrible condition. They told me to plant it anyway. It failed to thrive. I sent a complaint email which was ignored. I next called their 800 number and got the run-around. When I persisted, they agreed to a refund after initially only offering me a slight store credit. Bad!!!! Never will do business with them again.
