Well when we arrived our room ....the tea making facilities were inadequate .....apparently if you wanted milk sugar etc these were located in the corridors ....also the shower was non existent....the water flow in the basin was slow to say the least and so was the temp. For the money we paid it was a shambles....thank goodness it was only one night.

We recently celebrated our anniversary at Hockwold Hall, and it genuinely exceeded every expectation. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are stunning, and the whole place has that “special occasion” atmosphere the moment you arrive. What really made the day unforgettable, though, was the staff. Every single person went above and beyond to make sure our celebration was special. Nothing was too much trouble, and they brought such warmth, professionalism, and good fun that it felt like they were celebrating with us. The food was another highlight. We chose the hog roast, and it was exceptional, perfectly cooked, generous portions, and a real crowd‑pleaser. Several guests commented that it was the best they’d ever had. The catering team were brilliant and kept everything flowing effortlessly. Overall, Hockwold Hall gave us a celebration we’ll always remember. Beautiful location, outstanding staff, and fantastic food. We would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone planning a special event.

Absolutely loved a wedding I attended here in August, so much fun and the staff were so helpful with everything we asked. Our room was comfy too and the wedding food was also delicious.

Amazing venue, great team who couldn't do enough.

We recently had our wedding at Hockwold and it couldn't have been better! The location, the gardens, support from the staff and the general vibe were amazing. On the day Molly was great and proved very adaptable. My wife and I would whole heartedly recommend this venue. It was a perfect amazing day a big thank you to Richards, Molly and all the staff at Hockwold Hall.

I attended my friends wedding here recently and it was the most amazing day from start to finish. The setting of the whole venue is beautiful, perfect for a wedding. The staff were amazing, so kind and couldn’t do enough for us. Food was delicious, bar was well stocked and service was great. The couple opted to book the venue’s recommended DJ (Dynamix) and he was brilliant, kept the dancefloor going all night and was great with making announcements. All in all the day could not have gone any better and we are all so grateful. Thank you

We recently had the pleasure of attending a wedding at Hockwold Hall and what a fantastic venue it is. It’s one of those places that impresses you as soon as you arrive. The Hall and grounds are absolutely beautiful, with loads of character, and it was the perfect setting for what turned out to be a brilliant wedding. What really stood out for us, though, was how well everything was run. The staff were excellent throughout, friendly, helpful and attentive without ever being intrusive. Everything seemed to happen effortlessly in the background, which meant everyone could simply relax and enjoy the day. There was a lovely atmosphere from start to finish and you could see the amount of work that had gone into making the day special. We came away thoroughly impressed. If you’re looking for a wedding venue with a stunning setting, loads of character and a team that clearly knows how to put on a great wedding, Hockwold Hall is very difficult to fault. A genuinely fantastic day and an easy five stars from us.
