I ordered a latch hook wall hanging kit. The whole thing came to over 100.00 with the shipping. It isn’t particularly good quality. Apparently they do not print the design on the canvas anymore. If I had wanted counted cross stitch project I have plenty of that at home. You get a couple of copies of the “design” that you have to sit down and color so your eyesight doesn’t fail looking at a black graph full of tiny squares with symbols for each color. The yarn is very thin and it looks like you would need more than one strand to fill a hole in the canvas. I can just see the yarn running short and then what??? So I wasn’t pleased with it and decided to return it. The return lady was not at all helpful. Spoke to me as though she had no time to deal with customers. She said shipping it back was up to me (duh) and I could decide whether I wanted to send it back or not. I paid 18.95 to them to get it to me. I found out I would be paying 37.94 to send it back. I was told I wasn’t promised return of the first shipping fee and I wouldn’t be reimbursed for the second. When I asked how long before I saw my refund she said probably a month maybe more. So I guess I am keeping it. I have 60 days to get it back to them for a “full refund” whatever that is to them. Live and learn. Herrschners is not the company it used to be. Buyer beware.

The phone agent was not helpful. She abruptly ended the call. I expressed concern about package being stolen. I wanted to have it delivered to a business. She said it couldn't be done. I asked if they would use the parcel lockers. Couldn't answer. Told me I signed out as a guest. I logged in to my account. I thought I was dealing with ARC employees. I don't want to remain a customer. Quality of service has been going downhill.

My order was over $35, so I could receive free shipping. They only sent two items. Claimed the third item was not available. This put the order under $35, so they charged $12.95 to ship. They did not contact me about the change or to ask if I still wanted the order. Customer service would not refund the shipping charge. OCT 26 UPDATE. Orig order was 3 items total $42.35. They refunded 12.95 shipping, however, they never adjusted/refunded original order to reflect that they did not send $16.97 3rd item. I am still owed $16.97 (not counting tax adjusments which I am willing to ignore at this point if they would refund the $16.97)

They are charging an extra 2% pa sales tax. Customer service said I was flat out WRONG. Like I don't know the sales tax where I live. I called admin, they said I WAS RIGHT. They are Overcharging but that's what their tax company said and even though they are WRONG, they still have to OVERCHARGE. WTH???

I am currently waiting on an order that was placed at the 1st week of September. It was a rather large order, and my expectation would be that it would be shipped within 2 to 3 weeks. It has been 4 weeks going on five, and I have only recieved the backorder. There was a time when a customers needs were met with expedient friendly and excellent customer service. If you do not send it a refund, or another replacement order placed for the customer. Why am I telling you this you should already know this fact. Your company will be bought or fold with your lack of concern.

Be wary when ordering from them. I bought around $247 worth of yarn and I only got $175. Meaning I'm missing $70 worth of yarn. So I want a partial refund right? Cause why should I pay for something I never got? That's illegal. They still haven't given me a refund after 2 months. While the director has reached out now, before customer service never seemed to know who to send me to or what to do, they wouldn't send me to the higher ups or a manager for 2 weeks because "she's not in right now." Finally they got a manager to speak with me over the phone but she lied saying she sent me the items. Obvious nonsense. Cause if it was in there, it would've been. Don't buy from them, cause you never know when they might forget to add something and then pin it on you saying you're a liar. How can you trust people who don't even package your order correctly?

I have waited for 3 weeks to have someone call me about an error in a cross-stitch product. I was told the person who could help me works only once a week and the person I was speaking to knew nothing about cross stitch. However, someone would call me back. That was two weeks ago. In addition to that, the quality of the lap quilt was not what it appeared to be. I was expecting a lap quilt and what I got was preprinted thin sheet like fabric.

This company is a mess. A downright mess. I ordered something for my mother and they managed to screw it up twice. They don't refund shipping charges and you have to pay for returns. If you can find another option to purchase your crafts, go with them. Overall, the service from this company bottoms out the charts with the worst.
