Thank you for being a part of the Hero Journey Club community and for sharing your concern. We recently learned that a Hero Journey Club Guide was arrested. The charges do not involve any of their work with Hero Journey Club, however as soon as we learned of this matter we took immediate action: we terminated their role with us, contacted our members they were working with, and conducted an exhaustive audit of their company communications, which showed no evidence that any wrongdoing occurred through our platform. All Hero Journey Club Guides undergo extensive background checks conducted by an industry-leading provider to the full extent allowed by law, and we actively monitor to ensure there are no violations against their license or other credentials. Unfortunately, existing background check processes do not report on arrests prior to convictions in some states. Given this, we are working to strengthen our vetting processes to further ensure the safety and wellbeing of our community members. Our number one priority at Hero Journey Club is to ensure a safe place of healing for all of our members, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us. Thank you, The Hero Journey Club Team

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We value all opinions as they help us improve our service. We're continuously working to improve our program and maintain a positive atmosphere. We sent out a survey asking Journeyers what services they would be interested in us adding to Hero Journey Club. We want to continue offering programing that is beneficial to our members and have gotten requests for different types of sessions to help supplement their journeys. Separate from that, we are still working on creating a community space for Journeyers to be able interact with one another outside of their sessions and this is something that would be included as a part of your existing membership and not an added cost. Your feedback will be taken into consideration as we strive to make these improvements.

We allow Journeyers and Journey Guides to identify in any way they choose, including pronouns. We do want to emphasize that each Journey Guide has their own approach and all have merit, but recognize that different approaches don't work for everyone. We have Journey Guides that work in the way you're requesting here. We would be happy to work with you to find a better match. Getting the right fit with a process and group that works best for you is so important and that is why rematching is a benefit of our offering.

The 72 hour cancellation policy was clearly outlined at the time of sign up. Despite our policy, we fully refunded you at your request when you asked to cancel the day before your next session. This week, we have changed our policy to allow for more flexibility for our members and have changed the 72h cancellation policy down to 48 hours.
