The support I got from the my Hero Journey Group has been so helpful. I've been a part of my group for a few weeks now. The staff were friendly and were kind to help me when there were some complications getting logged in at first. The group counselor is competent and the other group members have been very friendly. I love being able to message on Discord throughout the week as well to vent if I need more support as well.

I have been with HJC since early 2022, not long after they started operations, and every experience has been overwhelmingly positive and helpful. I always find benefit from my weekly group sessions, and all my group members are wonderful and kind. My journey guide is amazing and provides us with useful resources and ideas. In addition, as the community has grown, HJC staff has grown as well. They took strides to streamline customer service and support. All in all, HJC has been incredibly important to me and my mental health, and I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

I love how warm each session feels. I think the journey guides do a great job at creating a welcoming environment, which is particularly useful when joining a session with people you don't know. It can be hard to be open with people you don't know; there is a lot of shame and fear of rejection, but the journey guides are always there to clarify that the space *is* safe, and a judgement-free zone. You can set your own community guidelines with your group, which really help set boundaries and expectations. I also really love how free-flow our sessions can be. There is a lot of flexibility with how a session can go which is great if someone had something unexpected happen and needs time to talk. It also allows a space for us to just kinda chat about things in general, not necessarily related to therapy.

Groups are sized perfectly for the experience, and the weekly setting allows members to have weekly reminder of how to maintain their mental health. Every Journey Guide is trained well, and there is an atmosphere of acceptance, no matter what someone joined for.
