I’ve been with this service since the beginning, and I can’t overstate the positive impact it’s had on my life. My group and I have gotten close, expanding my support network, and the journey guides are patient and helpful and always open to suggestions as to how they can provide better support. I’ve even had them help me find resources in my area for meds, housing, healthcare. This is the first time I’ve stuck with any form of therapy long enough to start on the path towards healing and managing my symptoms.

I like being able to connect with others who may also be going through similar mental health issues I may be experiencing as well. Also being able to game with others while we conduct our session. It gives me a sense of belonging, as well as a safe and secure place to communicate issues I've had difficulty expressing.

My journey here has really done great things for my life. I've learned new tools to apply and skills to help me while I navigate through life

I think the best part of the experience is having an actual professional help facilitate conversation and deeper understanding of your situation! Plus everyone I’ve met here in my group has been amazing and very friendly and supportive. I look forward to Hero Journey Club every week and it always makes me feel better

HeroJourney has made a huge difference to my mental health and well being. I realize that probably makes this review sound fake or scripted, but I mean it. Once a week, I get to talk about my struggles and successes with people who genuinely care, and I get to share in their struggles and successes, too. I feel less alone in general. I have structure - when other things are unpredictable and stressful, I know my Hero Journey session is on Thursday, and I look forward to it. Our guide is easygoing and compassionate, and I love how he introduces therapy concepts for us to discuss. And lastly, I don't get a chance to play video games as much as I'd like - I'm very bad about taking time just for myself - so it's really nice to have a set, scheduled time during which I won't worry about other things and just play a game and talk. If you're on the fence, please try it.

I have tried a few different therapy options over the past year. This has been the best one for me. I find it easiest to connect with my emotions when playing games or driving. The staff here have been amazing and making sure everyone has some time to talk and honestly I look forward to it every week. If anyone was searching for something a bit more casual when it comes to therapy or mental health I would strong recommend this program.

Hero Journey Club has been an amazing experience for me. Every week I get the chance to vent, collaborate, and grow together with my journey guide and fellow journeyers. I can not stress how impactful and gratifying this journey towards better mental health and better connection between people has been. It is such a custom experience depending on what you and your group needs. All of my journey guides have been amazing humans who have facilitated growth, healing, and self reflection. If you are lonely or want to understand your mental health better, I recommend giving hero journey a try. It's the ultimate act of self care- taking care of your brain 🧠
