Instead waiting to get an appointment and spending three times as much out of pocket for the appointment, I was able to get a prescription same day from Wisp. It was simple, no fuss, and I was already feeling better in the time it would have taken to get a doctor’s appointment with my physician.

What a useful, necessary service Wisp provides. This website is now more important than ever with women’s rights being taken away. I had a need. A doctor reviewed my symptoms, and prescribed me medication within a short time frame. Easy and comfortable! I will continue to use Wisp!

Convenience and trust

As women we know our body. I just know I have BV. I had originally went to my doctor (who is part of a military installation so it's hard to get appts) and told her my symptoms. She didn't even do a pelvic exam. Just made me swab myself and then they would test it. It came back negative for YI & BV. Also, I completed a STD test and it was negative (thank goodness!). So I hoped my symptoms would just go away on their own. They didn't. It is killing my self-confidence and I am dating someone new and I make excuses why we can't have sex. I hate it! After a quick google search, I found Wisp. I was VERY skeptical & knew this was a scam. It's NOT! I completed the questionnaire last night and woke up to an email stating the medication (antibiotics) were approved! I called my pharmacy and they are filling it as we speak. I am so glad I have this option. The only thing I don't like is that if you want the gel you have to pay $70 more. So I'm taking the pills because it has already cost $65. Thankfully with my insurance my copay was only $3 so that helped a lot. But I'm willing to pay just so I don't have to go through the hassle of trying to make a new appt and convince my doctor that she's wrong.
