I’ve been receiving my birth control through Nurx for roughly 2 years now. I constantly had issues with them. At first, my subscription should have been delivered directly to my house, but I constantly ran out of medicine before my new prescription would arrive. One time, I went without medicine for 2 weeks. Anytime I would reach out to Nurx and ask about my medicine I would just be told that my order must be lost and they would submit a new order. My prescription still never arrived. After weeks of back and forth, I finally got them to agree to just send my prescription to my local pharmacy so I could pick it up myself. That went okay for a few months, but then I ran into the issue of them just not submitting my prescription to the pharmacy in time and would still run out of medicine. The most recent time, I ran out of medicine and asked for an update on my order. Each time was assured my prescription was sent over, and it never was. This was a week long back and forth discussion with me asking about my prescription, Nurx telling me they sent it to my pharmacy, then my pharmacy confirming they never received anything for me. I was over it. I looked up reviews for Nurx, mainly just to see if anyone else was experiencing a similar issue (spoiler alert, they were). One of the reviews mentioned Wisp and how great their experience was and is with Wisp. So I decided to sign up. Within two hours of me signing up with Wisp, my pharmacy messaged me that my prescription was ready. Took them 2 hours from receiving my request as a brand new patient to have my prescription sent over for me when my previous company I was with for 2 years couldn’t get it sent over within the week I was messaging them. I love the option to pick your frequency. I chose the 3 month option because who has time to go to the pharmacy every month?!? I can’t really say much about the renewal process as I’m a brand new Wisp user, but if that process is anything like the onboarding process, I know it will be smooth! So happy I made the switch to Wisp!! Also- just some icing on the cake. After receiving my prescription from Wisp, I messaged Nurx requesting to cancel all services. Nurx immediately responded to let me know I didn’t have any active services with them when quite literally 3 hours earlier they were assuring me they sent my prescription to my pharmacy for me…
