Didn't work at all. What a disappointment and waste of $$$

If you are not aware, this pill is a low form of birth control. It does not promise to actually pause your period. For me, I contacted my actual dr seeking this for a trip I had coming up. Through my gynecologist, the pills were free. My review of this is as follows: I took as prescribed. My period still came and it came with a vengeance. I was up at 2am (while in the Caribbean) until 7:30 with the most painfully crippling cramps. I was pale white, clammy, nauseous and had trouble breathing. I spent 5 hours dying in pain that I can only describe as labor with no baby at the end and I bled for 12 days. My periods usually last 3-4 days and do tend to include cramps that require Tylenol or ibuprofen. In this case, taking both together didn’t even begin to touch my pain. Please please be careful. I honestly can no imagine having to go through that pain again. I would hate for others to suffer the way I did.

Literally was a waste of money!!!

It was great to be able to see someone online and get a prescription quickly. However, I had to switch the card linked to my account and tried to then renew the prescription and now I see that I am being charged twice they took out $90 on 9/1 and they are now leaving a $90 hold on my account on 9/8 after already taking money out of the account. They seem to not have customer service and only answer you in one to two days. I will take a second look on actually leaving something to autorenew on my card since the company doesn't have an available customer support team. I have now been in touch with the support to team and they supposedly provider a refund but the pending amount on hold actually went through as a full charge which does not make sense if they processed a refund on it. Honestly their refund process seems like a scam at this point they are claiming they processed a refund and said I must wait 5 to 10 days to get my money back due to the bank processing. However my bank says they have received no notification of a refund and they do not take that long to credit and this is on the company itself who is not refunding. Terrible service!

Made me feel horribly nauseous and dizzy my whole trip.

Soooo many times I would pay for prescription and it wouldn’t ship. I had to literally email support almost every 90 days to remind them to send out prescription. I finally had enough and cancelled. Kinda unprofessional for a company who’s sole purpose is online prescriptions. Also there are sooooo many companies that are cheaper and accept insurance. So I won’t be back.

If your situation is nuanced at all do not use wisp. I was diagnosed with endometriosis after having a surgery to remove an ovary and cyst. My doctor told me to take birth control continuously to stop my periods so I don't have other endo related illnesses. All I need is birth control. After my surgery (a year ago) I had an IV vein injury that caused a small clot in my arm; it went away after two days. I've never had a clot before or since. Wisp knew about this for a year but will now not refill my prescription because I have a "history of blood clots". Ive been receiving Sprintec through wisp all year, but they have decided I need to be evaluated by a physician even though my medical history hasn't changed. I did not know they would require this until I put in a refill request. I don't have insurance or a physician which is why I use wisp. Now, the medication I'm supposed to take continuously I have to stop cold turkey. I need to find a doctor and wait at least a week to be worked in since everyone is booked up, and I have to pay to be evaluated when nothing medically has changed. I may as well get the prescription through that doctor if I put in all the money and work. Sort of defeats the point of using Wisp, doesn't it? Not to mention that is a lot of time to not take the medication Im supposed to KEEP TAKING, especially when I haven't had any change in medical history since I started. And I was told LAST MINUTE to stop taking the meds and seek a doctor. If I were told earlier I could've at least made preparations while I still had pills. Now I'll be waiting weeks without a needed prescription out of nowhere. The Telemedicine consultations are also a joke. I had a consultation to ask about a side effect I had when I started the birth control. I didn't get a real response. The consultation was closed and I received an apparently automatic message saying to "stop taking prescription and see a provider". Why do we even pay for telemedicine consultation if that's all we get? I PAID for someone to tell me if I have a question, see a doctor. "Why does this side effect happen" is a straightforward enough question. If I DO need to see a doctor, why? Don't just cancel my prescription and tell me to get evaluated without so much as a comment. What a freaking waste this whole thing has been. Isn't the point of this business convenience? This isn't it.

These made me start my period. I took them as recommended - 3 days before I was expected to start. The first day I took one I started my period within 6 hours.
