They canceled multiple times! Super unreliable. Don't waste your time! Thet ancelled multiple times! Super unreliable. After the fifth rescheduled appointment, the customer service told ne that nobody in the area was capable of fixing the video camera doorbell. Don't waste your time or money purchasing a membership or hiring a technician from HelloTech.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My appointment was canceled three times without any prior communication. The first technician told us he would keep us updated, but he completely disappeared for the entire day of the appointment. We gave him another chance and agreed to reschedule for the following day, but he canceled again without any explanation. The next technician who was assigned asked if he could come earlier than the scheduled time, so we told him anytime was fine. The original appointment was set for 3 PM, but after waiting until after 6 PM, he canceled without any communication as well. This has to be a joke. Customers’ time should be valued just as much as we value the technicians’ time to show up and complete the work they were assigned. Thanks to this terrible experience, my Ring doorbell is still unopened and sitting on the counter, waiting for someone reliable who can actually install and wire it properly.

This is the most rip off tech company I have ever come in contact with. I had a tv mounted and tech home visit. The tv mount person came in didn't speak was on the phone with whomever and had not a pleasant attitude. He left without cleaning up his mess and was supposed to mount my sound bar didn't do that and supposed to hide wires but only hid 2. The home visit guy came out and everything they had listed that the tech home visit does he didn't do. He moved my router less than a foot away to the window and recommended extenders (valued at $99 rip off). I canceled the membership a week after having it and received and email a week later from 2 seperate agents asking the same questions to cancel my membership assuring me it would be canceled but the next month I was charged again. I know this is a lot but PLEASE do not sign up for this membership it's not worth it all trust me!

They actually just refused every request (I paid $70 for their services). They cancelled every appointment and cancelled every one they rescheduled. (SCAM) Local groups can perform their tasks/mounting for 1/5 the price (which is what I did).

We had a 7:00 pm appointment that we waited two weeks for, and we rearranged our entire day to accommodate the time, and no one showed up! No apologies, no call to cancel or reschedule - nothing. This was after I received an email confirmation that someone named Noah would be at our house at 7:00. Completely unreliable company. And worse, they charge your card in advance so now I have to dispute the charges. Do not use this company! They are scam artists!

Scheduling was problematic. I had a 4 hour window for a technician to come out today. After 2 hours, I called just to check in to make sure someone was coming out. They told me that no one was assigned to my order. They said they could possibly reschedule for later today or some time tomorrow. They could not confirm that someone would actually come out at the time scheduled. I cancelled my order & I called a local shop.

After three cancelled appointments, over 4 days, I simply gave up any thought of hiring this company and made alternate arrangements, service provided with a smile and 30 second turnaround time. The Hello Tech business model operates on 2 independent modules: 1- An on-line scheduling app that tricks a prospective customer into thinking that he/she can pick a date and one of three 4-hour windows that day for a technician visit. Theapp then quotes a price, and sends an email to confirm the request that was made. Never does the app have access to any organizational resources ( e.g. any technicians) needed to provide the requested services. 2- A corps of independent gig-economy technicians who may or may not have the ability to provide the requested services. What they do have is the authority to renege on the service date and 4-hour window as contracted, the ability to do so without consequence. Anyone lucky enough to actually have a technician show up and provide service should first buy a participation trophy to go with the technician’s collection in his/her childhood home
