During my appointment, I would have appreciated a more focused and informative discussion regarding me, the patient, with less joking and topic switching. It was hard to follow what the doctor was saying. It ended with a feeling that the appointment wasn't as professional as I had hoped.

I have never used marijuana for medical purposes and am really excited, mainly at the prospect of being free of painkillers. My only concern about weed is the munchies. It's the only reason I rarely smoked weed for fun. Now that it's legal for medical use, I am hoping there might be a strain available that suppresses, controls, etc. that side effect of weed. I tried to explain this to the Doctor hoping he could have a recommendation. But he just didn't understand what I was asking. It was a rather bizarre experience with a Doctor! He repeatedly told me that marijuana does not make you gain weight. I tried three times unsuccessfully to explain that I'm not concerned about the marijuana itself. I'm concerned about the side effect causing me to eat more sweets, which would then result in weight gain. He just wasn't getting what I was asking him, even when I read some info I'd found online about a specific strain that does not have the munchies side effect. In his recommendation for my card he wrote, "Patient became rather upset when I explained to her that marijuana will not cause her to gain weight." I found that unnecessary. I became rather frustrated because I can't believe that I'm the first person to ever have this concern about weed?! Perhaps I was unclear, I really don't think I was. I think the Dr is smoking too much weed before talking to patients!

I spoke with Dr. Kim. The consult lasted no longer than 1 minute. Dr. Kim appeared to be sitting at home on the couch, and based on my experience it seems like he was having a hard time holding his composure from laughing. He asked me about pain management. He asked me if I had any prior allergic reaction to marijuana. He asked me if I knew the difference between sativa and indica. He asked me if I had any other questions which I had no idea what I might want to know about how to treat my conditions since I had no other specific questions the consultation ended quickly. I guess being able to be through a consult so quickly is beneficial to people who don't care one way or the other so long as they get issued a card. I felt that the doctor had an unprofessional demeanor and did not appear to care one way or another regarding dispensing any significant advice. I would have appreciated a consult that would have given me additional information on choosing different forms of Medicine to treat my conditions.

I was not impressed with the "bed side" manner of Dr. Bugailiskis when I had my "skype" interview with her. She was very quick, seemed to be in a hurry and just did not open herself up for questions. She ended the "interview" so quickly that I said to myself - "what was that? Hello - I have some questions.....she didn't say what to expect as far as approval, documentation I would receive - she was basically wham bam thank you ma'am type of service. I had a friend recently used HelloMD for her MM and she was very pleased with her doctor - said he was helpful and patient. Not my experience.

While well meaning, my HelloMD doctor completely lost my faith when she said that MSG in vaccines cause autism. A claim that has been completely debunked by the scientific and medical communities.

took almost a week to get a consult, and the doctor acted like she had a hundred other places she would have rather been. Very impersonal, very impatient, and I really felt like I was bother her by being there. Not a great experience. HelloMD, once I managed to get them on the line, was responsive, but this doctor experience left a lot to be desired. Can't speak on the other doctors, so your mileage may vary.

Dr took my history, then hung up without asking me questions, without saying good bye!. Had to log back on to read her notes which were inadequate. If she had asked a few questions, or stayed on the line she may have given me good advice. She wrote short sentences with common info i had already learned on internet. I paid in advance for this Dr visit. Feel totally ripped off.
