I've had a horrible experience with this app. I tried three different times with three different doctors and they were all horrible.
The first doctor never called my prescriptions into my pharmacy, and after a week of following up it turns out she's not even licensed to practice medicine in my state. This was a week ago and I'm still waiting on my refund.
The second doctor wouldn't see my until I prepaid on a completely different app after already entering in my credit card info to pay on Klarity.
The third doctor never showed up to my appointment and never answered my messages.
Klarity has never responded to my emails to the "patientsupport" email address outside of the autoreply that my emails were received and a ticket was opened. I'm pretty sure this company is a huge scam.

YOU WILL BE SILENCED
I tried to leave a review for a provider that I had a terrible experience with and tried 5 different drafts of the review that kept getting rejected by the AI for various reasons! I literally was unable to leave a public review warning others about this dangerous provider!! This is a terrible platform that victimizes patients and then silences their concerns. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We’re sorry to hear that you felt unheard, and we take feedback like this seriously.
Klarity does not silence patient reviews. To protect patients, providers, and the integrity of our platform, all public reviews are moderated to ensure they comply with community guidelines and avoid personal health details, defamatory language, or content that could put patients or providers at risk. This moderation applies equally to positive and negative reviews.
If you had a concerning or unsafe experience with a provider, the fastest and most effective way for us to act is through our internal support and clinical review process, where reports are reviewed by our compliance and quality teams. This allows us to investigate appropriately and take action when necessary—something public reviews alone cannot do.
We encourage you to contact our support team directly so we can review your experience in detail and address your concerns promptly. Patient safety and transparency are priorities for us, and we welcome the opportunity to follow up. Please email [email protected]

It's a scam. Provider was a no show because I was using insurance
Had to switch providers due to an insurance change, I needed a prescription refilled. Filled out all of the forms, payment information come up uploaded my ID and everything and I feel like it's a scam. No one in there said that we had to use a 3rd party Insurance payment provider. It just said I was good to go so the provider felt it was OK to just know show me and then the condescending AI stuff is kind of unacceptable

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this situation felt.
To clarify, Klarity does not bill insurance directly. All visits on our platform are self-pay at the time of booking. Unless you choose a provider who accepts insurance, you will be directed to that provider’s billing service or a third-party insurance billing partner to submit claims for potential reimbursement. Each provider on Klarity operates as an independent private practice and manages their own billing and insurance participation separately. This information is outlined during booking and intake and explained by the provider, though we understand it may not always feel clear in the moment.
Regarding the appointment, providers on our platform are independent clinicians, and no-shows are not acceptable. If a provider was unavailable for a scheduled visit, we want to review this internally and address it appropriately.
As for the AI messaging referenced, these tools are used for administrative support and patient guidance only, not for clinical care. We appreciate your feedback and are continually working to improve the patient experience.
We would welcome the opportunity to review your specific case and assist further. Please contact our support team directly so we can look into your appointment, provider assignment, and payment details. Please email [email protected]
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Total Disaster: Provider wakes up 20 minutes late and cancels appointment for an insurance check with no warning
Total Disaster – Late Provider Wakes Up 20 Minutes Late, Then Cancels for Insurance Check Without Warning, During My Mental Health Crisis
I booked an urgent initial mental health visit with Catherine Donnerstag (PMHNP-BC) on Hello Klarity for January 7, 2026, at 7:00–7:30 AM PT. I was in a serious mental health crisis and needed this appointment desperately for support. The platform itself was a mess from the beginning: no "Join Appointment" button ever appeared on my phone (despite constant refreshing, email/spam checks for links, and following support guides) or even on my laptop after repeated logins and troubleshooting. I was freaking out, convinced I was going to miss my only shot at help that day.
I messaged the provider multiple times in the portal, begging for help since nothing worked—no reply at all. The scheduled time passed in complete silence, spiking my anxiety to unbearable levels.
Finally, at 7:20 AM—20 minutes late—the provider answered. She sounded groggy and admitted she just woke up. Already unacceptable for any professional, let alone in mental health care where punctuality and reliability are critical for trust during a crisis.
But it got worse: She then canceled the appointment to "look at my insurance." No one—not the provider, not Klarity—had bothered to tell me beforehand that insurance verification was an issue or that the appointment might be at risk. I was left hanging after enduring the tech nightmare, the panic of nearly missing it, and waiting for her to wake up, only to have the whole thing scrapped without warning or apology. This wasn't a simple reschedule; it felt like complete disregard for my time, emotional state, and urgent need.
Klarity advertises convenient, same-day telehealth for mental health, but this was the opposite: platform glitches, an unprepared/tardy provider, zero communication about insurance problems, and a mid-appointment cancellation that wasted what little energy I had left in crisis. It actively made my situation worse instead of helping.
Avoid Klarity if you're in distress—especially for initial visits. Patients deserve advance notice, professionalism, and basic courtesy, not this chaotic, uncaring mess. Demand refunds, better accountability, and actual support for people in crisis.
Update: the provider then harassed me by text and email insisting the appointment was at 8am (even though I showed her receipts of the appointment time on my end). She wouldn’t stop. I had to block her. Horrible experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are truly sorry to hear how distressing this situation was, especially given the urgency and vulnerability you were experiencing at the time. This is not the experience we want any patient to have, and we take concerns like this very seriously.
We understand how critical reliability, communication, and clarity are during mental health visits—particularly for initial appointments. When expectations are not met, it can understandably worsen an already difficult moment, and we regret the frustration and anxiety this caused.
Klarity is a platform that connects patients with independent, licensed providers, and while providers manage their own clinical practices, we are actively reviewing the circumstances surrounding this visit, including communication, appointment access, and billing processes, to identify where improvements are needed.
We would like the opportunity to review your account directly, address any billing concerns, and help coordinate appropriate next steps or care options if you are open to it. Please reach out to our Patient Support Team at [email protected], and a supervisor will assist you.
Your feedback is important, and we appreciate you taking the time to share it. It helps us identify gaps and strengthen the safeguards and support systems that patients rely on—especially during moments of crisis.

Spammy/Not legit Company
Provider no showed. Provider never responded to me in messages. Customer service never responded to my emails. Customer service phone # rang busy over and over with an odd ring tone like a spammy VOIP.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience, as this is not the standard of care or support we aim to provide.
Missed appointments and unanswered messages are taken seriously, and we understand how frustrating this can be—especially when you were actively trying to reach both your provider and our support team. We appreciate you flagging the issues you encountered so we can investigate what happened and address any breakdowns in communication.
We’d like the opportunity to review your account and make this right. Please contact our Patient Support Team directly at [email protected]
so we can assist with next steps, including reviewing the appointment, addressing any billing concerns, and helping coordinate care moving forward.
Thank you again for your feedback. It helps us improve our processes and better support patients.

I had an initial visit with a clarity…
I had an initial visit with a clarity provider for weight loss services. The cost for the second visit was not discussed at the time of the first service. I was billed for the second visit 24 hours prior to the visit and could not find a documented cost for a visit posted anywhere on their website. When I complained to Klarity, they said it’s their policy to have the provider discuss payment verbally with the patient in the visit. They do not post. That’s inappropriate and a policy they need to revisit. In my visit reminder emails leading up to the visit, the cost should have been listed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand how important clear and upfront pricing is when seeking care, especially for ongoing services.
Our platform is designed so that providers review visit structure, treatment plans, and any follow-up care during the initial consultation, as costs can vary based on clinical needs and the type of services recommended. That said, we recognize that billing expectations should always be communicated as clearly as possible to avoid surprises.
Your feedback regarding clearer cost visibility in appointment reminders and during the scheduling process has been shared with our team and is actively being reviewed as we continue to improve the patient experience.
If you have any remaining questions about your visit or billing, our Patient Support Team would be happy to assist directly. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and helping us improve our processes.

Wasted my time setting up an account…
Wasted my time setting up an account and going through the entire process. Baited me with $41 appointment, the fine print said and up. After getting set up it looks like most providers are about $299 per visit with a few being $199. the local doctors are still less expensive than this.
Response from Klarity HealthDec 22, 2025
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations.
Appointment pricing on Klarity can vary depending on the provider, specialty, and service type. While some visits start at lower promotional rates, individual providers set their own fees based on their practice, experience, and care offerings, which is why you may see a range of prices across the platform.
We always aim to be transparent about pricing before booking, and we appreciate you calling this out — feedback like yours helps us continue improving how we communicate options to patients.
If you have questions about pricing, insurance coverage, or finding a provider that better fits your budget, our support team is always happy to help.

This is a SCAM
This is a SCAM! I booked an appointment for my family member, for Saturday morning (which I booked late Friday night) and they charged me $187. I went in to cancel it and there was no option to do so. I attempted rescheduling and it booked me another appointment for the next day. I called 30 minutes prior to the initial booked appointment and the "Doctor" immediately answered and said they would refund my money after I explained the circumstances. I have not received a refund and today is Wednesday. It appears that they just want your money by offering appointments with no option to reschedule when the appointment was booked just hours in advance. Don't pay them up front, or your money will be taken from you!!
Response from Klarity HealthDec 22, 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear about the frustration surrounding your booking and cancellation — that’s certainly not the experience we want for anyone.
Klarity partners with independent, licensed providers who set their own availability, pricing, and refund policies. When an appointment is booked close to the scheduled start time, cancellation and rescheduling options may be limited due to the provider having already reserved that time. That said, refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis according to the provider’s policy.
We’d like the opportunity to look into your specific booking and ensure your request was handled appropriately. Please reach out to our support team at [email protected] so we can review the details and follow up with the provider directly.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are happy to assist further.
