I landed at HearUSA while following my audiologist when I lived in another town. Though I love my audiologist, I can't say the same for HearUSA in my new town. Let's talk about what happened. After weeks of having dropped off my aid, I got a call saying "it's ready and there's no charge." The person who I dealt with at the office, Bill, has no customer service etiquette. He questioned why I have an older model aid, insisted that the tubing length was fine. And, I should "push it further into the ear canal" He tried to charge me $275. and said his coworker was wrong, "it's not no charge." I just had to ask him, "are you feeling okay?" As a business owner myself, I would not speak to anyone in the manner he spoke to me. HearUSA - you can do better.

What made my experience great
What made my experience great! Bruce, in the SugarLand office, is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. He made my annual hearing exam comfortable and easy, and I appreciated how thoroughly he addressed my concerns.

Very thorough exam with all the best equipment.
Very professional exam with all the latest equipment.
The Optometrist, Caitlin, is WONDERFUL.
As far as I'm concerned this is the BEST place to go in Riverside County.
I haven't gotten good working hearing aids for a few years, but now I can HEAR!
I have No idea where these other folks went with their bad reviews, but it's definitely NOT the Hear USA on La Sierra & Magnolia Ave!

My Experience With HearUSA
My Experience With HearUSA
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with HearUSA.
My hearing aids are still under warranty, and when one of them needed to be repaired, I expected HearUSA to provide reasonable assistance while the repair was being completed. Instead, I was told that they did not have a loaner hearing aid available and that their policy had changed.
As someone who depends on hearing aids, being without one is not a minor inconvenience. I was particularly disappointed when the audiologist told me, “At least you still have your left one.” That comment did nothing to solve the problem or make me feel that my situation was being taken seriously.
It then took more than seven days to get my repaired hearing aid back.
The customer service problems didn't stop there. I have also experienced the HearUSA office closing without warning. On more than one occasion, I have arrived at the office only to find a note on the door saying that the office was closed for one reason or another. When you need hearing services, unexpectedly finding the office closed is extremely frustrating.
What concerns me most is the lack of consideration for the customer. Hearing aids are not a luxury for people who rely on them. They are an important part of being able to communicate, interact with people, hear what is happening around you, and maintain your independence.
If a hearing aid is under warranty and needs to be sent out for repair, I believe HearUSA should have a better system for helping customers during the repair period. At a minimum, customers should receive clear information about the expected repair time and what options are available to them.
I chose HearUSA expecting dependable service and support. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me very disappointed.
My biggest concerns are:
• Unexpected office closures without adequate advance notice
• Difficulty obtaining service when the office is closed
• No loaner hearing aid available during a warranty repair
• Being told the loaner policy had changed without a satisfactory alternative
• A repair taking more than seven days
• A response from the audiologist that felt dismissive rather than helpful
• A lack of consideration for how seriously losing access to a hearing aid can affect a customer
I hope HearUSA takes this feedback seriously and looks at how it handles warranty repairs, loaner equipment, office closures, and communication with customers.
Customers who depend on hearing aids deserve better than being told to simply make do while waiting for their equipment to be repaired.

NO HEARING AIDES PURCHASING , NO TEST. NO PROPER EQUIPMENT FOR THE TEST
The specialist MS Yolanda at their El Dorado office is rude and this facility does not have a sound-treated room or booth , it is required for accurate hearing test. She also refused to give me a hearing test because I told her I have a pair and have no intention to get a new pair.
Later as per their management response, I called 855-501-1862 and talked to a few customer services agents and finally I got a reply yesterday 7/6/26. The management agreed with MS Yolanda's no hearing aids purchasing, no hearing test policy. Besides, they declined to put a hearing test booth to that location. SO THE BOTTOM LINE IS IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BUY AN HEARING AIDES FR0OM THEM DO NOT GO THERE. AND IF YOU WANT TO GET AN ACTUARATE HEARING TEST, FIND ANOTHER PLACE, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PROPER EQUIPMENT TO TEST YOU

HearUSA tricked me into going to a…
HearUSA tricked me into going to a distance appointment under false pretenses and wasted my time. I told them clearly that i needed serivce on a widex heaing aid.
When I arrived they said they did not take my insurance and they do not service hearing aids.
This caused me to waste time, since it took nearly an hour round trip, and put 25 miles on my personal automobile

Exploits Kaiser Insurance Members
The offices were clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite and professional. They might provide you a competitive price if you are paying "out of pocket", as they advertise "price match guarantee". But that is NOT available for insurance customers. My Kaiser (insurance) has hearing aid allowance that should fully cover premium hearing aids, but the price HearUSA quoted was almost double market price, and would have me paying thousands of dollars over my Kaiser allowance. HearUSA and Kaiser are partners, they are owned by the same parent company. Kaiser members can only get hearing aids from HearUSA, and any HearUSA can charge any Kaiser member any arbitrary price for any hearing aid, there is no pricing transparency.
