This appears to be a permanent renewal - must we cancel every year instead of just once? Just found the automatic renewal for Food Magazine ($49.97). Problem is we cancelled the subscription last year and received only 1 promotional issue. Customer service was able to cancel the current $49.97. They were not able to refund the prior year which we didn't receive. Can someone help us get a refund for issues not received and confirm it is permanently cancelled?

Magazine werd stopgezet en overgezet op een ander magazine, zonder enige inspraak. Na opzegging abonnement, bleek het bedrag toch van de rekening te zijn gegaan. Dit pas na een tijd ontdekt omdat we edities bleven ontvangen. Opnieuw opgezegd. Geen edities meer maar wel een brief van de deurwaarder omdat we niet tijdig opgezegd zouden hebben en we nog extra edities moeten betalen bovenop het bedrag van een jaarabonnement.

As others have said signed up for a 3 month subscription that auto renewed thereafter at a higher price for 6 months. They took the payment for the next 6 months after only 6 weeks into my initial 3 month contract... no notification, no option to cancel. Customer service has completely ignored my emails for the past few weeks. Surely this isn't right? I can see nowhere on the details of my contract that I should expect subsequent payments to be taken so unnecessarily early. I've asked the company to point me to this information but I've been ignored? Its disgusting. Just avoid at all costs.

Worst experience. I signed up for a 6 months deal that would auto renew at a higher price after that time period ended. However after only 3 months, I was charged. I immediately contacted customer service who said they take payment early. From my perspective, I signed up for a service with a specific term and they did not honour that. If they were going to charge me super early then I should have been notified. I have subscribed to many services over the years and have never had this happen. It feels dishonest and I feel swindled. Do not recommend.

Cheap offer to hook customers up then they will bill you every 6 months. The website does not offer a cancellation option. You have to either call or email them. They will not refund any pre-paid subscription fees which violates the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2023 in the UK. Content is okay if you are really into sports. However, for their dodgy subscription practice, I would stay away from this company.

Hearst stuurt mij onophoudelijk spam over idiote onderwerpen. De opt-out functie gebruiken helpt niets. Zelfs niet na 5 (!) maal gebruiken. Conclusie: enkel abonnement opzeggen kan helpen, alhoewel ik Quest zelf zeker kan waarderen. Triest.

It’s not even worth one - avoid at all costs - refused to issue a refund on a cancelled gift subscription. Absolute joke of a company.

Well, here I am still waiting for Hearst to credit my account with the second £140 that they still owe me. They have admitted that they owed me for two boxes, then paid me back for just the one. My Bank is on the case but appear to be getting nowhere! I can only state to anyone that thinks about any form of dealing with Hearst to forget about it as they are an utter waste of time and I have found it very rude that they don't even reply now. I just feel as if I have been scammed by them.
