Hi Ms Henrietta, thanks so much for your review. In looking into your record, we've seen a couple past appointments from 2025 to this year, and they have all determined the program wasn't a right fit. As we say on the workshops, if you've spoken to us in the past, there is no need to book another appointment. Just keep enjoying the free workshops. As you've clearly enjoyed those, that would be the recommendation here. Our team is small and we simply cannot entertain repeat calls that have already led to past conclusions. However, we will make sure to check in as to why you weren't notified the call wouldn't commence (our apologies). Blessings to you in your musical endeavors.

Hello Carolyn, thanks for your feedback. While we know people come to us from all over the world with different experience and skill levels, languages, and tech familiarity, we've tried our best to make the curriculum as slow and step-by-step as possible. Assuming you started at the very beginning of the lessons and did not skip any, it should be presented very slowly and methodically. In fact, here are the first 5 lessons: 1 - Course Introduction 2 - The Musical Alphabet 3 - Note Shapes & Memory Aides Recommended: Study Games To Learn Notes 4 - Musical Distance 101: Half Steps & Whole Steps 5 - Sharps & Flats Lesson 2 literally means A, B, C, D, E, F, G with diagrams and quizzing to boot. Lesson 3 literally means "here's how to remember the white notes and the slight shapes the keys make" (...like how C looks like an 'L' wrapped around the black key above it). Lesson 4 talks about the distance between notes like half steps being right next door to each other with no notes in between them. Lesson 5 then tells you what to call the black notes (C sharp or D flat, etc). As for the navigation, all lessons are on the sidebar allowing you to go backwards and forwards as you see fit. If on a mobile phone, you'll find the same sidebar below the current lesson always allowing you to go to any lesson you desire. Please give it another try and perhaps you'll consider updating your review, once you've seen how easy the lessons flow. Thank you.

Hi Ms Alma, thanks for your review. I would like to encourage you to start with "The 100: Gospel Grammar System." I assure you it does not assume any prior knowledge. In fact, here are the first 5 lessons: 1 - Course Introduction 2 - The Musical Alphabet 3 - Note Shapes & Memory Aides Recommended: Study Games To Learn Notes 4 - Musical Distance 101: Half Steps & Whole Steps 5 - Sharps & Flats Lesson 2 literally means A, B, C, D, E, F, G with diagrams and quizzing to boot. As there are 1000s of lessons in GMTC, it's easy to get wrapped into something on your timeline (and then feel intimidated that it is beyond your league). It is my hope that you return specifically to our flagship course, "The 100: Gospel Grammar System," start from the beginning, and then return here to hopefully update your review to let us know it indeed started from the beginning :-). Hi and thanks for your review. While it depends on the products you may have purchased from us, our true goal is to create understanding and we cannot achieve this without teaching theory. Many of our students want to play in charismatic, dynamic environments that include having to know a song in all 12 keys --- situations that include praise, worship, periods of jubilee and shouting. It's not something that can be merely taught with mimicry. Teaching chords by memory can get someone through a song but many rely on us to get through a church service that is not planned in the way a concert might be. However, with this in mind, we understand that preferences of teaching will vary from person to person. We're glad you found a solution that works for you.
