Everything is great! I'm having a problem connecting when I'm at home in a rural area. Brittainy is a wonderful instructor!

Everyone seems to really care about you and if they're being helpful. Playing by ear is not easy and using Chords, Progression, Diminished, Circle of Fifths, Seventh, learning to Modulate (play in different keys), etc is downright confusing at times. I think that most of us (students) are trying to learn, or trying to play more skillfully, because we want to play Gospel music for a Church, Group, etc. The Music Theory and all the other Stuff and the over 100 chords is Overwhelming for some of us - especially, if you're elderly. Trying to Remember so much, in a record amount of time, so that one can be a decent Musician is more than a thought - or desire. I feel that Hear & Play does the best that they can; given that no 2 people comprehend or learn in the same way - nor at the same pace. They have old instructional and newer instructions. The newer ones are an improvement, which goes to show that GMTC is trying to meet the needs of their students and trying to use "Tried & True methods" that will help us get Up & Running as soon as possible. Personally, I might get stuck every now and then, but there's ALWAYS someone whose more than willing to help.

So far, the gospel 100 course is very good for structure. If I was complete beginner, I would be a little lost. You’re are not walked through every key for arpeggios and blocked or broken chords. I wish there was a video breaking the fingering for each key and specific road map for beginners, intermediate, or advanced. Some of the other courses need to be updated (not able to see clearly what’s being played due to technology limitations when video was made). The instruction is very good overall! Would like to see more song tutorials and more courses helping you to improve your ear. The softwares are good and definitely a great tool for ear training and transcribing. Great value for to price that was offered for lifetime membership.

I truly appreciate the opportunity to learn. These classes have shown me just how much there is to discover, and I've really enjoyed the experience. However, I'll be traveling all next week and won't be able to attend the live classes. I called to ask if I could receive a one-week extension to my 12-week program because of this unavoidable conflict. Considering the significant investment I made in the program, I didn't think it was an unreasonable request. What disappointed me most was not necessarily the answer, but the response. Instead of feeling that my concern was acknowledged, I felt as though I was simply reminded of everything I was already receiving from the program. I was hoping for a little understanding and flexibility regarding this one small inconvenience.

Ms Brittany was wonderful! I have learned many things and I like the pace. Things that make me feel uncomfortable: 1)there are so many groups that I am over whelmed. 2) communicating in class is a struggle. Example: I turn on my microphone, I try and be quiet then when the instructor asks for a comment, I comment and the mod has turned off your microphone and you didn’t know it. I have started using hand motions so that Ms Brittany knows I didn’t die.😂. That is frustrating to me. I have just gone into the tech room on Thursday to find out how to raise my hand. I am happy that I took 2 months of classes and want to finish my year, but don’t see the option to do that! Maybe someone could tell me if that is possible.

I love the way it’s helping me to understand the language and the way the coaches take time with us before we move to the next section to make sure we understand what we doing before we move on. i’ve been playing songs for years, but now that I’m understanding what I have been playing. The training helps me to be more eager to go high and higher.

The only thing I wish for your program is that most or maybe all of the song tutorials does not have written materials. Maybe the lyrics with the chords would be very helpful.
