Hello, I’m new to the program but not new to the heath care field. In choosing to advance in my career, I’ve researched various schools. When I came across HTA, I called with a ton of questions prior to signing up. Staff made me feel increasingly confident in my decision to move forward, and thus far my experience has been exceptional! Jasmine and Adarsh are Amazing. They’re patient, knowledgeable and willing to assist. With a first impression like that, I am certain I’ve chosen the right program to complete my certification as a Surg Tech! Thank you for your time.

Currently a surgical tech student . Jasmine with the signup process was awesome with the sign up process , Farzeen & Geralyn were very helpful with the orientation process . I love the fact that this school assist with the ability to complete the course at your own pace. But I have been dealing with a couple of issues that’s not resolved still. They require 5 coaching sessions, which I have yet to have my first one on one with my “instructor “ (Aleyda) waited a month to meet with her and two days before I get a cancellation of the meeting with my response or reason why. Second issue is that regardless if you’re new to the program/field and it’s 100% online and being based in Austin . It’s the students responsibility to make sure you locate a hospital within your location to accept the school. Which they are not affiliated with any hospitals in the DFW area. Nor are they willing to make sure they initiate the willingness to assist with the number 1 area of healthcare to start an affiliation with a hospital in this location . Overall it feel like you doing all the work to sit and wait for no reason and can’t complete clinicals. Especially if people from around the world could sign up.

As someone that has previous experience in the field, the Surgical Tech program was exactly what I needed as a refresher to be able to take the certification exam. Jasmine did a great job explaining the process and was very helpful getting me started in the program. I enjoyed meeting with the Surgical Tech instructor (Aleyda) she’s knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Adarsh and Zoya both did a great job as well, very helpful with assisting their students. In my opinion the only downside would be for a student (with no experience) to start clinicals without hands on learning or going through the motions of daily tasks.
