The convention was advertised as though it would give us a transformative experience and shape the future but so far I didn't see any of that. The institution need to work on bringing more challenging topics that would build us. The topics we discussed today were too light and wasn't exactly worth the time and effort we took to come to Italy. Further, the facilitators need more energy and enthusiasm. The session was a bit dull in the morning, no ice breaker or energizer was done. So far, the concept around the convention and the implementation thereof do not align.

My experience at the 2025 UN SDGs Forum in Bangkok, Thailand, was truly remarkable. The conference began on November 7 with an inspiring orientation, followed by a visit to the United Nations Conference Center, where I gained deeper insights into the UN’s mission, vision, and commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals. On the final day, I had the honor of moderating a panel on Accelerating Youth Leadership for the 2030 Agenda, and listened to inspiring speeches from youth leaders on peace and development. The forum was a powerful learning experience that deepened my understanding of the SDGs and youth-driven change. I also built meaningful, lifelong connections with delegates from across the globe. I highly recommend this program to anyone passionate about leadership, diplomacy, and sustainable development.

This is my second time applying to a HISA program thinking it would be better than the last one, but it was just as bad. Im not sure if this was the coordinators’ first time in managing such a project because the logistics were terribly executed. First, it’s standard practice to extend a day prior for the participants to check in to the hotel, and not the day of. The fact that so many delegates had to book hotels just bc they came early was absurd. Second, what’s up with the fee collection upon arrival? Is that even legal? There was no other explanation on the TOR as to what it was for so I hope you will provide us all with an invoice & detailed explanation as we need it for work. Third, why are the fully funded participants paying for their own expenses and to be reimbursed later??? All expenses should be covered from the very beginning and I hope reimbursement doesn’t take more than a week! Fourth, this is supposedly a youth event but was open to people up into their 40s??? They should have served as mentors or experts and not as youth delegates as it takes away the experience for actual youth delegates in the discussions. Fifth, if you’re gonna put people in rooms together, make sure they both have keys from the get-go! Sixth, the venue could have been in the city and that would have definitely enhanced our experience. Pretty sure there were hotels that were around the same price as the one we stayed in. Seventh, if you’re going to have this many people attend, you have to make an agenda that serves the interest of the majority, and I feel like the program fell short of that. Eighth, make sure to make important announcements or changes at least 2 days in advance and not the night prior, including asking people to be panelists. The only reason I even have a review of two stars is bc I made great friends because if not it would have been zero stars. I hope HISA is able to take into consideration all of these feedback in order to improve your next events.

The committe is unprofessional. The presentation from the committee is too basic for professional's interest to join in this event. There are no simulation of UN youth SDGs and there is no substantial relate to SDGs' concept
