Heading into the 2nd full season with our pool. The Hayward heater is not working, looks like it's leaking from the pump. What a mess! Immediately contacted Hayward for support and to look into warranty coverage. They were quick to send a local tech to validate our claim @ $125 charge for his time. Then confirmed they received the information from the tech by email and then nothing... 2 follow-ups over the summer and nothing. No place on the website to reach a complaints dept and a service team that tells me my claim is in process. I have no hope of a speedy response. Terrible experience, a leaky mess and quickly cooling off pool. Caution when installing their products for your pool.

The LED Panel on my 3 year old pool heater stopped working. Ordered another in February through a Pool company. Eventually Hayward sent one out 5 months later at a cost of Euro 340 - but it was the wrong one no apology. They then said the correct one would be received iby them in early August - now they have put it back to October. Avoid Hayward as if things go wrong you will wait ages for spares.

Total joke. I was told by the pool techie to down load the App then left on my own. App is very un-intuitive and not worth using. Is everything OK at Haywood?. My suggestion to Haywood get a real techie (Not a 15 year old in mom’s basement) and design an ANALOGUE system that works.

Zero tech or product information support at all. Suppliers poorly trained and kept in the dark on product changes etc.

I spent thousands last year for all new panel, pump, and other components. At the beginning of this season, the system doesn't recognize my login, it won't let me reset anything because it says the system is already registered, and their customer dis-service center sent me a (no-reply) email with instructions to do the things that I told them I've tried and don't work. In summary: bad software, terrible support, system doesn't work. My pool came with Hayward components so I cannot compare it to competitors, but based upon my experience, Hayward is expensive, their software is terrible and their support is dreadful. If you can choose, consider buying pool equipment from another company.

Got a Hayward gas pool heater installed and it lasted only one season. Was well over $2500 The company won't fix it. It only has a one year warranty and I am past that. A pool heater should last 10 years. My online research indicates this will take $500-1000 to fix and the part (Likely the main control panel) will need replaced often. Trying to decide if I should just scrap this $2500+ heater and buy a different brand or roll the dice and try to repair this horrible product.

Purchased a Phoenix pool sweep and the Rebate was $125.00. I filled out warranty and rebate. Rebate was to take 4-6 weeks for processing. We purchased this on 2-12-2023. We have contacted Hayward 7 times spoke with at least 3 difference people and we are still waiting. We were told that Hayward was using a credit card company for rebate and that Hayward was not releasing funds to credit card company for the rebates. Truly surprised that they are trying to Get Out of there giving the rebates they have advertised in all Leslies Stores here in Las Vegas, Nv. Leslies Stores have no bearing on this review. We are again on phone with Hayward Service and again, they will have someone return call. We have taken other action but want other customers to know that the rebate is not being Honored at this time. We finally received our rebate after another 4weeks after this review. We are still very disappointed with the companies handling of this and will not be purchasing anything else from there product line. Hayward thanks for honoring your rebate !!!!!

I bought one of there Pool cleaners, it doesn't work. I have taken it back to the store I bought it from and they say there is nothing wrong with it! I called Hayward and all i got was take it back to the store, I have 6 times in the first 3 weeks. It will NOT move around the pool. I check and everything else it works very very slowly for about 1 minutes then it is stuck again! $600 for a piece of junk!
