Severe side effects
[Edit: Thank you to the customer service team for reaching out to me. I have amended my review after your detailed responses and effort to offer alternative products per my inquiry. I understand that your company is not the creator/producer of Finasteride but I encourage any potential user of this that drug to be EXTREMELY careful because the side effects are downright scary.] Tried one of the topical products with a combo of Minoxidil, Finasteride and other ingredients. After a week of usage, suffered SEVERE side effects including racing heart, cold sweats, ache/pain in right testicle radiating up towards lower stomach and around the lower back. Upon further research such as medical analysis and studies, Finasteride can effect/damage the pudendal nerve as well as kidneys!

It did not work with my hair
It did not work with my hair. It looked greasy when I used it.

We also have alternative topical solutions that do not have aloe vera which may help with the "greasy" feel.

Happy Head requires consistent use (2x per day, morning and night) and may take up to 6 months to see any type of results. Results come slowly
I am now 3 bottles in. The results are coming slowly, but better than anything else I have tried. Willing to keep on for at least 6 months.

Hi, Jerry! According to Dr. Ben Behnam, one of our founding doctors, the ideal hair routine to maximize results consists of applying Happy Head + Vitamin A and D to your scalp everyday. Our doctors also suggest using a 0.25mm derma roller 2-3x per week before applying the formula. Wet your hair, derma roll for a few minutes, and then apply Happy Head. Please note that consistency is key. If applied consistently, you should start seeing results in as little as 3 months to 6 months. Hi Brent, You're doing Great! Keep Going! I see you are on your 4th month so it's still normal. It usually takes about 6 months to start seeing results. If applied 2x daily consistently, some may start seeing results in as little as 3 month. But keep in mind, everyone responds differently to the treatment. Which is why our formula is customizable and we offer a variety of oral and topical treatment options. I was disappointed that I had to wait a…
I was disappointed that I had to wait a week without product after my first month. Essentially I used the product for 25 days, was without it for 7 days, then had to begin again when the next shipment arrived. I explained what was happening through email and the shipment frequency has been changed to every 21 days but going forward you might want to consider overnighting a shipment when a customer has this type of issue. I’ve been on this treatment for a year…
I’ve been on this treatment for a year now. Even though I see results my hair does not cover the targeted spots and it’s not full as I expected.

Minoxidil for women worked as well and…
Minoxidil for women worked as well and did not smell as bad. I think they went for a mint but it smelled like weed to me. Had a hard time using it.

Hi Jennifer! Thanks for reaching out! We add peppermint oil to our Spironolactone formula in order to cover up the strong smell of the medicine, which many describe as skunk-like. At this moment, we’re unable to remove the peppermint from the formula because it’s part of its base, but you can always request to remove the Spironolactone (and peppermint) entirely if you’d prefer.
