I stayed at the Hampton Inn Sarasota-I-75 Bee Ridge location over the past weekend and had the worst experience! I started with the room having a mildew smell, water staines on the ceiling. the next big issue was we were trapped in the elevator and nothing worked, the emergency phone did not work and none of the buttons did either. We ended up having to call 911 and the front desk. When we spoke to the front desk they said we were over capacity which is no way possible when the weight limit on the elevator is 2500 lbs and it was 3-4 adults and 3 children. We tried speaking to a manager and there was not one on duty all weekend. So we've been calling everyday since our stay and have yet to hear anything back. I do not recommend anyone stay here as they do not care about their customers and management does not contact anyone back.

Again I spent 3 days at another Hampton…
Again I spent 3 days at another Hampton Inn hotel this time its downtown Los Olas 250 N Andrews Ave. I'm sure I won't be going back to any Hampton Inn hotel ever again, they obviously need training on how to be kind to the guests plus they think it's a jungle gym workplace setting. This is my survey to the hotel, it's trash and so are the employees I wouldn't recommend.

Rooms not ready in time. Shower leaking just trickling from the screw point not shower head. Screaching noise throughout the night due to what sounded like pipes. No answer on reception phone at anytime. Extra £60 taken for room still waiting for refund. Second room bathroom lock broken. Breakfast was book only but others that had booked at different times were allowed in before us. Air conditioning and heating not working properly room was freezing. My son had forgotten a wire for his computer he went to ask if they had one my 15 year old was told if that's what he wanted he should of booked a travel lodge he was only enquiring. Would never stay again.

Vets Beware
I asked upon check in to use my VA discount and was informed that they had already given 5 discounts for vets for that day. How would I know that 1. they only give 5 discounts out per day for vets and 2. they had already given out the 5 by 3 in the afternoon when I checked in and they said it was my lose. I can not believe that's how they treat vets. Along with several other complaints I have already made about this hotel and their services. I hope this ridiculous rule changes.

Hampton by Hilton Berlin City Center Alexanderplatz
1) There was a water cut. The stuff did not informed the guests. Not even writing a hand-note and placing it on the reception desk
2) Metal springs sticking out from the sofa-bed. No action was taken people were left sleeping on this bed!
3) We asked for a room change, 3 days after that, the reply from the hotel was pack your stuff, come down to the reception (before 12:00am) with the suitcases and waste half a day until we manage to re-check you in (after 03:00pm).
4) Not a clean room, smelly & stained carpets that have not been washed since installation. We even found hansaplast under the sofa bed – with blood on it.
5) We have asked someone from the desk to visit the room and the request was denied.
6) Blocked (clogged) shower cubicle. It took them 3 days to correct.
7) Dirty and filthy toilet floor. The toilet floor was never cleaned/moped properly. Absolutely filthy.
8) Hairs, dirt & filthiness on the top of the door cases, mirrors, under the beds.
9) At check-in inspection, in that first call, we also mentioned that the shower cubicle is full of hair. Nothing was done.
10) Dirty door handles. This is a known issue if the one that cleans the room (the toilet in this case) and uses the same tissue/cloth to also clean the handles. Can you imagine the germs on them?
11) Mould in the shower - see pictures on internet.
12) Broken tiles in the bathroom.
13) Non-Washable and dirty pillows on the bed, against Corona regulations that beddings should be washable at 60 degrees.
14) Dirty walls and damaged window frames. Truly badly maintained rooms.
15) City views? Derelict and abandoned multi floor buildings and car parks opposite the hotel.
16) Small rooms with almost no wardrobe space. Not suitable for a family because there is no room to actually open your suitcase and move at the same time.
17) Those rooms can not really accommodate more than two people. Worst than youth hostels. Actually there is a hostel nearby which has much better facilities and management.
18) Hotel's management is incapable to secure and enforce the municipality’s Corona virus restrictions. No spacing between dinning tables, no checking of the number of guests in the buffet for breakfast. Ambiguous corona regulatory signing. Non guest were sighted having breakfast as there is no one checking who is entering the restaurant.
19) Glass and coffee mugs on plastic trays - during breakfast - that are used without underlays. Picture the liquids on the trays when glasses come straight out of the dish washer. Add the habitual fly on top to get a complete picture.
20) Which leads to: flies at the buffet. They are wondering about the cold dishes, meats, chesses, etc. Bon Appetit. Don't worry about it though you have great toilets (CleanStay) to use! Check out the video on internet too!
21) Front desk staff at the hotel support that this hotel has no rating!
22) Stuff are long excuses and no problem solving attitude at all. Rude and untrained front desk stuff.
23) Under stuffed critical functions. One maintenance person for the full (250? rooms) building. One waiter in the restaurant to clean and reset tables at breakfast for a full hotel. As a result tables were not cleaned in between sittings.
24) Dirty carpets at the corridors.
One fail is bad luck. Two fails can be coincidence. What should we call all of the above if not extremely bad management to say the least?
You have the 100% percent guarantee claim made by Hilton! Haven't you? Fat chance. This claim is just a marketing gimmick. Something like Paris Hilton videos! I mean 100% of nothing because honestly it is soooo crap this establishment that they don't give a damn about guests.
At their price range there are much better hotels and apartments available in Berlin city center. I would therefore advice to completely avoid this 'hotel' (for a luck of a better word) at all cost!

Hampton Inn Pigeon Forge,TN
Booked room 412 in Pigeon Forge,TN. for two nights (6/25 - 6/26). With points and cash paid $450/night. Standard room over looking parking lot. Rack rate on door stated nightly rate not to exceed $269/ night. I talked to the supervisor that either I am entitled to a room commencerte w/ the amount I paid or should be issued a policy adjustment. She stated the rack rate posting was incorrect and there nothing she can do about it. ( You know when you get a strong sense that you're being lied to, I got that feeling with her. ) Apparently this location is a franchise. So I asked to talk to either the owner or the GM. None were available, so I asked that either give me a call. What's the chance of that? This location seems to care little of customer service, but does seem to care about squeezing dollars out of their customers. Stay away from Hampton Inns, especially from this Pigeon Forge location.

I booked through Priceline a room at…
I booked through Priceline a room at the Hilton Garden Inn, Paper Mill Drive, Knoxville Tn. For 2 nights. There is a 24 hr. Cancellation policy. I made the reservation through Priceline.com. Made the reservation after 8pm on 6/28/21 and needed to cancel on 6/29/21@6:30 pm. Less than 24 hrs. I was told by Hilton Garden Inn, “We have a NO REFUND” policy. Total BS. Priceline was no help at all. Stay away from both.

Easy to buy, hard to amend
Booked a room, the website will not let me amend a booking, and in addition, the phone line makes you wait more than forty minutes to change a booking.
