This is a review on the price claim guarantee customer service area .Worse customer experience I have ever experienced in my life !!! I found a cheaper price on Booking.com and they are meant to have a price match guarantee , don't bother they will do everything possible and make you feel dishonest until you give up on your price match guarantee claim . Shocking customer service !!!! The price guarantee is a total con and waste of time !

In February of 2020, my family and I were in Miami and stayed at a Hampton Inn & Suites by HILTON / Blue Lagoon. My spouse and I became very ill. I had one day left on our reservation and tried to call them to let them know we needed to leave and could they please not charge for the last day. They refused. Going in circles with words. The "manager" on duty was pregnant and I was forced to go down in person, sick, to check out with her. She gave me Jennifer Guillen | Front Office Manager's information. She sent an email, again refusing. She referred me to Christian Riofrio, the General Manager, who also refused. I called Hampton/Hilton 800 number. They also refused. We checked out. People didn't need exposed to us and we needed to get home. A few days later I lost my sense of taste and smell. I had COVID. Within a few weeks we all knew about covid and how hard it hit Miami. This company was part of the problem. Them and a pregnant employee cared more about money than they did the health of themselves, the hotel or their innocent patrons.

Worst COVID safety policies and customer service ever at Hampton Inn Indianapolis/Carmel. This hotel hands down has the worst COVID safety practices, management and customer service I have ever experienced. Kyle Byrne the manager at the time was the most rude and unprofessional manager I have ever encountered within any company or establishment. He was completely unwilling to take any steps at all to re-book or refund my reservation which was made in error even knowing that I had a recent COVID exposure that would put all employees and guests at the hotel at risk if I were to keep my original reservation. As a loyal diamond member I have worked with many kind and helpful people within Hilton and the hotel and services industry as a whole. This hotel is an obvious exception and I would advise anyone against staying there both for the lack of regard for public safety during a pandemic and the unacceptable and unprofessional manner in which they treat their customers. The receptionist left the phone on speaker while trying to transfer and I heard them discussing me and my unresolved issue in a very disrespectful and unprofessional manner that is consistent with the poor attitude of the management. Other reviews have indicated that this hotel is overpriced considering the non-central location which is obviously the case but if I were to pay the price to stay at this location I would expect a safe and friendly atmosphere neither of which appears to be a priority at this location. I will now have to begin a lengthy and cumbersome process of applying for a direct refund from the Hilton Diamond desk which has assured me that, although the manager is acting against their companies best interests, they will be able to issue me a refund eventually without the help of this sub-par location.

The Hilton Arlington has refused to refund my $1,100+ when I was forced to cancel my trip due to a declared National Emergency in Washington DC 1/19/21-1/22/21 Question:What kind of company steals from its guests like that? Answer: THE HILTON

Looking at the hotels' rating, we decided to hook two rooms for 5 nights. After checking in went for a shower, by the time my shower is over, I was standing in 3 inches of water. Reported the issue to front desk. No action is taken for 40 hours. Again checked with the front desk. No maintenance was possible, then I requested for a room change and I was moved to another room. Moved all our stuff to the second room. Went for a shower and same story. Again water not draining. Unprofessional staff. No Covid19 precaution from staff( No Mask). On the whole worst customer service, a horrible experience. P.S. Still in the hotel.

I have stayed with Hilton hotels exclusively for 35 years, and this stay for over 4 weeks. I am waiting on my house to be ready to move into. It will not be ready for another week, and have ask to use my honors points that I’ve accumulated over the last month. I was told I couldn’t do that during my stay. So I ask to checkout and recheck in and was told no I couldn’t do that either, that I would have to wait up to 7 business days before the points would be applied. I’ve tried 5 different times to get someone to apply them manual and all five refuse. They will not make any effort to accommodate my request. I suggest anyone reading this to not stay at a Hilton!!!

Be very careful when booking a stay at a Hampton Inn. I was trying to take my kids to a hotel in our town Monroe Mi to go swimming. Online I went directly to the Hampton by Hilton website but somehow or another when I looked up the number it had sent me to a 3rd party company called Getaroom.com I had no idea and was not told this was a 3rd party company until after I went to check in at the hotel. I asked the man on the phone whose name was Akim if he could check to be sure the pool was open and that there were no restrictions due to covid. He placed me on hold and came back and told me pool is open no restrictions. So I booked the room with him. When i arrived with all my kids at the hotel I was told they do not have a pool open and it has not been open since the pandemic started. I then asked for a refund and to cancel my reservations. and was told I booked it through getaroom.com and have to go through them. So I called them and got the run around, was placed on long holds and hung up on numerous times. Then I called back and asked for a manager and was told there was no one available. But the representative , Chris said he would call the hotel and ask if they could refund me He comes back and says NO they will not let us issue a refund becaue you have to cancel 24 hrs ahead of time. Mind you, I booked the room 2 hrs prior to this. I said that policy should be void when you are telling me the pool is open knowing that is the only reason we are going there and it is clearly closed .Well they did not agree. I called back to the hotel and spoke to a young lady at the desk who seemed to sympathize with me and told me it was unfair that i should have to pay for a room when i was unable to stay there and she would leave a note for her manager, jamie. I never heard from Jamie. So I called today to ask for a manager and was basically told it was my fault for booking through a 3rd party and I would not be getting a refund. I told him I would be posting it all over social media with bad reviews to which he stated "go ahead" Bottom Line is Hampton pays this company getaroom.com to reserve rooms for them, these people have little to no knowledge of what ammenities are provided at the hotel. And once you give them your credit card information- they will not return your money to you. Even when you were lied to. Why would I book a room in a hotel in my own town when i have a home to sleep in , if it did not have a pool which i stated over and over that was the reason we were going. I would never EVER reccommend staying at a Hilton or a Hampton Inn. Absolutely horrible. I spent half the night on the phone trying to resolve this and had to spend another $120 on a room at a hotel with a pool.
