I opened one of the boxes of taffy I ordered and part of the wrapping was folded over about 1/4" of the length of the taffy so the candy did not fill the the wrapper. I haven't had the time to check out the rest of the box, but it was frustrating to see this when I paid so much for the taffy (in my opinion).

The lemon marshmallows had a taste not similar to the of fresh lemon. I threw half the package away. The mocha marshmallows were somewhat better. I am not particularly crazy about the chocolate covered marshmallows - the Hammond's Treats. I LOVE THE CARAMEL HAMMOND'S SWEETS and expected the chocolate to be similar. They are not. The caramel Hammond's Sweets are my favorite candy of all time.

We no longer make lemon marshmallows, thank you for your feedback! Mitchell Sweets are a classic Hammond's favorite!

1 package was very good. The 2nd one was mostly caramel with very little marshmellow.

We have 2 different types of caramel marshmallows. One with more marshmallow to caramel ratio and one with less. Our Mitchell Sweets have more marshmallows than our caramel marshmallows. Contact [email protected] for more information.

The tour was good, the store is nice and has a large selection of yummy treats. But... There were cases of peanut brittle in the hall way on sale at a greatly reduced price. We bought a case expecting delicious peanut brittle but instead, it was very old smelling and tasted terrible! The expiration date was Nov. 2019 and most things are still good past their date, This was not even expired and was terrible! WE also bought a case of the chocolate peanuts that were also on sale by the case and luckily they are good. We visited on Monday, November 25 with family from out of state.

Quality of the candy canes was great but the flavor selections and price are why I only gave them 3 stars.
