Interesting and fun tour. The facility is not a huge operation so the tour was fairly short i.e. a 10 minute video followed by a 10-15 minute tour but it was interesting and just the right amount of time for kids. You'll probably spend more time in the gift shop/candy store at the end of the tour than on the tour itself!...LOL

My fiancé and I had a great time touring the Hammond’s Candies factory while we were on vacation in Colorado! The tour itself was a little underwhelming, but we still learned a lot, got to see the candy making in action, and stocked up on chocolate and cookies from the gift shop!

My fave item was the holiday candy mix in an attractive tin. Candied nuts were tasty too. After also ordering several ribbon candies, I found that they weren’t what I had expected (too large), so I sent a letter to the company. I was pleasantly surprised when a company rep called me soon after, promising to resolve the matter to my satisfaction: sending me another holiday candy mix and refunding the difference. A totally pleasant experience all around, and I will order again!

Love the caramel squares. A clothing store in the southern states carries them in a jar at the register. I buy $30 worth. Unfortunately they don’t sell them here in NY. When friends go on vacation I have them buy them for me. Ohh you say why don’t you just buy online. I do,but they are more expensive through the website ,then buying at the stores. This means I can buy more. This is why I’m giving 4 stares all for the delicious chewy goodness, please don’t stop making these. There is no other caramel that comes close to the taste and texture of these. Maybe discounting the price for a larger amount bought!

Everyone was very nice, facility was interesting, tour was well organized. Tour guide was friendly and polite, but not very articulate and added little information after the video intro

Love this Denver landmark...but go during the week to see the candy being made. Good tour guide and short --easy for kids.
