We have loved Hammond's candy canes for years. Unfortunately, when they are in retail stores, they sell out almost immediately. We have decided to start ordering them directly. We have ordered once before and they were wonderful. This last order was great but 4 candy canes arrived broken. They still tasted wonderful, chocolate filled rasberry. We still recieved the canes and they were great. The box was slightly damaged so I can only assume the candy canes were damaged in transit. No worries. Thanks again! Happy holidays!

The first order we placed was for 30 candy cane give or take a few and they were wrapped in pairs in bubble securely. The second order we place for a case was delivered with 10 broken canes because the special packing material that you press the candy canes into was not used properly. Upon opening they were all in disarray and 10 of 48 broken. It was simply packed in the styrofoam type packing incorrectly. Simply need to retrain the staff packing on how to use it. Lastly the first order was suppose to be shipped fastest option which we paid for but it came via ground. The second order was shipped properly. Thank you for your time reading this

Really great for a free tour. Felt there could have been improvements though. The person at the desk who I checked in with could have easily shown me that there were coloring pages available and hats for the kids, and welcomed us. When it was time for the video, it would have been beneficial to have someone asking us to move all the way down so that more people could easily come in. Instead people were sitting all strewn about and had to climb over others to find a place. The actual tour was pretty cool. Wish they would have a way to kind of rotate guests through the viewing spots. My kids were kind of bummed to only see one area because adults were crowding around the windows. Love the candy shop and all the cool products. Video is just right- short, sweet and to the point, but full of information.

I have purchased Hammonds for several years enjoying the beauty and quality of their products. Unfortunately this year nearly half my order arrived broken due to poor packaging clearly not the attention previously experienced. Worst part is that my attempts to resolve the problem have been ignored.

Didn't have the festive packages like 2017.

The tour was fun and yes - free. However, at the end of the tour, they give you an old broken lollipop and you end up in their store-which was "pricey". I was ok with that too because the tour and the old broken lollipop was FREE. We spent more then we should have and packed up the candy in our secure suitcase and brought it home. After a 2 day drive back home, we were so excited to try our candy but found found that our box of fudge had a dead bug in it- so we tossed that (the most expensive thing we bought). The candy canes are very colorful and will dye your mouth for the day!! they are also hard to eat because they are so large. Taste wise, they were good- as candy canes should be. The best part was the marshmallows. They were sweet and soft and definitely worth it!! We had fun, and it was worth going one time. It's a one and done for us.

Your Mitchell Sweets are not like I remember them. The marshmallow is delicious, but the caramel is not. I think I will stick with the Modjeskas.

Prices are high but good selection
