I thought the tour was OK but but distant. Too far from the action. I also thought there may be some samples of the candies made on site and for those made offsite. It was my first time visiting (or even hearing of your company) and did spend $50 in the candy store but did so on blind faith. Luckily, from what I have tried so far, I have not been disappointed.

There were too many people allowed on the tour at one time to be able to see through the limited amount of windows where you watch what’s going on in the factory. Otherwise it was a cool experience. Wish the candy given at the end wasn’t the broken butterscotch leftovers that no one wants.

We were 5 minutes late to our reserved tour time. There was no one at the front desk to greet us. We snuck into the movie assuming that’s where the tour started. It is very hard to hear when the tour guide speaks into the microphone. I’m comparing your tour to the sound quality of the celestial seasonings tour, which is very clear and loud.

Past ratings would have been higher! I've ordered a few things in the past, especially the chocolate-filled peppermint candies. This year's were not nearly as good: less chocolate and 'texture' not as good...Believe they changed the recipe!

I’ve loved buying from Hammond’s in the past ordering each of the kids their favorite flavors of candy canes. This year however they opted to only sell in sets of six, except for clove. Wasn’t about to buy 36 so I could get 6 different types picked two types and had disappointed kids.

I had the unfortunate luck to do a tour on a day you we're closing early. Even tho I was there 2.5 hours before closing time the only thing I got to see was somebody mopping. Wish tours had just been canceled that day. Waste of my time. Update: Hammond's Candies reached out and will try to provide a better tour on my next visit. I appreciate their effort on this front so I'm changing my review from one star to three.
