My experience with customer service and product warranty was excellent. Original product not so much. Pro series kettle leaked everywhere and would not shut off at preset temps...basically $70 junk. Customer service redeemed things offering a free up to $70 replacement, free shipping, no pop req'ed. Having had the kettle a year i had lost track of receipt. I took pics of the kettle, base, model numbers etc.and was told could dispose of it. I called.later to confirm before ordering out of stock selection. Upong trying to order replacement amd.hearing that defective one was disposed of, was told thats our bad, np. So long story short a new now glass kettle is on its way from ms. I cant say hamilton beach products are gretat considering how orig kettle performed but at least they stand behind their.products, have clear communication and are sending a new kettle free.of charge
