We are very sorry to hear about this incident. We are working toward resolving this issue, and an investigation is still on going regarding this matter. Per our previous investigation, there were no trace of security breach found on our website. Our IT Department has made sure that the website is secure, and our payment gateway has also updated our card security system to make it more secure for card transactions. All card details given over the internet to Hair Stop and Shop site is encrypted using secure socket layer known as SSL. Customers' credit and debit card details are not saved and cannot be accessed by our employees or anyone. The website is secured with a Starfield Technologies Web Server Certificate. We are currently in contact with our payment gateway Authorize.Net, and have reported this crime/internet fraud to Belleville Police because this issue seems to be still happening after such safety changes on our website. Unfortunately, we're informed that there are thousands of possibilities that credit card information can be stolen. Possible reasons are hacker may have hacked user's computer, skimming, and phishing attempts. Police informed us that hackers can steal credit card information off the user's computer by typing it on their computer/cellphone. While an investigation is still on going, we suggest customers to consider checking out via Paypal and/or to make sure that the computer being used to place any order online has internet security to avoid important information being stolen by hackers. We will try our best to resolve this issue, so Hair Stop and Shop customers can shop confidently again on our website. We are currently conducting a thorough investigation regarding fraudulent transactions that some customers are experiencing. Our IT Department runs all types of different scans and were not able to find any malware. We also have been in contact with Authorize.net regarding this matter, and they have recently updated our card security system for that matter. Hello Shacree, I apologize for the delay in your order. Unfortunately, due to covid-19 we are only operating with half staff which could be the cause for the delay in your order. As stated in our website, we are located in New Jersey and due to the current safety precautions with Coronavirus, our suppliers in the state and our warehouse will be working half staff therefore customers may experience delays in order processing and shipping.
