It's different from any haircare…
It's different from any haircare course. The knowledge was different and it made me understand the basics of hair. I really enjoyed this as I was interested in the topic. Haircare is a journey and not happens in a day, but months to see result.

I learnt a far but over the 14 days, especially protein is particularly important for your hair. The missions each day are short and easy to follow. Looking forward to keep going with the missions and see how my hair changes

14 day challenge
14 day challenge -
Had a good experience doing the 14 day challenge. I learnt so much about hair and it was really interesting aswell. Its prompted me to look further into what I am using on my hair and I am going to research what may be best for my hair type but with science backed studies of good quality.
I would recommend to anyone to try as the 14 day challenge normally has a discount and is affordable.
You get an offer of the hairqare lab at the end of the challenge. It's discounted alot and can see why it's a good investment as its tailored to your personal hair type and could set you for life on haircare. However, it's nearly £500 with the discount and its still really expensive for me. I don't use expensive hair products normally and am not a huge earner. Would be good for people if they have the money to do so though. I think it's like 900 or something without the discount.

14 Day Better Hair & Better Health Challenge
I'm just wrapping up the 14 Day Hair Challenge and I would say yes, it's worth the money (I think I paid $25). While it is quite general (so that it's applicable to everyone), some sections do go into detail, especially the one about hair care ingredients - and that is a topic I never thought I would delve THAT deep into! Now I feel a lot more empowered knowing what hair care product ingredients are what, and which ones to stay away from.
The course also offers a fresh perspective around hair care, and that is that each person has a unique hair profile (they don't really go into this during this course) and in order to achieve your best hair, you need to commit to figuring out what works specifically for you. It's really setting you up to start your hair care/growth journey by providing the fundamentals (hair care ingredients, nutrition, stress management, etc). Honestly, it was perfect for someone like me who had been experiencing hair issues, but had no idea of where to start. There is so much misinformation on the internet, and it's hard to find a trusted voice.
In the end, I can't say my hair has improved much since the start of the challenge, and that is mostly because the DIY shampoo did not quite work for me. But that doesn't bother me too much, as I know different things work for different people, and I just need to continue to experiment to find a routine and shampoo that suits my hair. Hair is a long-term thing, after all, and the work I'm putting into my hair will start to show as new hair grows out.
One last note is that the more you put into this course, the more you will get out of it! If you do the workbook exercises and contribute to the forum, it will become more of an experience for you. Otherwise, it will merely be you absorbing information through video format.
*edit*
I am revising my review to cover the last part of the challenge. (This portion wasn't originally covered in my review because I was asked to post a review before the very end of the challenge.) There is a 40 minute sales video of Sarah trying to sell you the Hair Growth Lab program for the last "mission". Of course, this does not at all nullify the usefulness of the 14-day challenge itself, but 40 minutes does seem a little excessive to me. In fairness, you are of course free to just skip this video, but it became very apparent that the 14 day challenge is basically preparation for/funneling you towards the larger program. It is a very well thought-out sales strategy.
Lastly, the winner for the scholarship giveaway (free access to the Hair Growth Lab) was not announced through email, as I anticipated, but merely a small line of text at the end of the last mission page that gets updated after each challenge. I had to ask about the results in the forum since it is not at all clear when/where the results are posted (an automated email goes out saying the results will be out in a few hours, but I could see that the old winner from the last challenge was still posted 2 days after the challenge ended). This made lose confidence in the integrity of the scholarship giveaway... Just something for the Hairqare team to consider.

I learned some myths about ingredients…
I learned some myths about ingredients in shampoos that aren't always bad as well as blacklisted ingredients. The program gave many exercises to tackle your hair problems from many different angles. If you're a beginner to shampoo myths and want to dip your toes first before buying the Hairqare lab I suggest taking the 14 day challenge like I did.
