We understand your confusion and you are not the first one to feel this way. We teach a VERY different approach to haircare. The beauty industry wants women to believe they need to buy a lot of products and spend a lot of money to have beautiful hair. We don’t agree with that at all. Many other women feel the same way - that advice has not worked for them. It has been scientifically proven that taking care of your whole body, like managing stress and eating well, is key to grow healthy, beautiful hair. This isn't as easy or fast as buying a product but the results are beyond what any store-bought product can give you. You mentioned that there were days when "she literally just told you to meditate of exercise." While we understand your feelings behind this claim and see that you felt it was of no value to you, we have to say that the words you used in this claim are not true. We encourage negative feedback too (just like your review here) as it's helpful for us to improve, and for those reading the reviews to understand what to expect. No one is forced to leave a review, and you do not need to leave a good one just to move to the next class. We understand starting on Sunday doesn’t work for everyone. This is why we allow students to start when it's most convenient to them. We allow up to 6 months to complete the challenge. We admire that you still wanted to work on yourself even on vacation, but we would never want for you to give up your vacation just so you could keep up with the challenge. The Sunday start date exists to cultivate a shared, supportive learning environment where participants can move through the material together, engage in discussions in real time, and share their progress and insights at the same time. It’s aimed at creating a vibrant community and the most fun experience for our community all over the world. For those who can’t start on Sundays or stay up to date, the challenge is available for 6 months so you check in whenever you like and complete the challenge all at your own pace. We're surprised by your comment about your loss of access after two weeks. Could you please email us screenshots of how the access looks on your side? You should have access for 6 months and if this is not the case, then it seems there must be a bug or a misunderstanding and we are committed to working through it with you. Regarding the tool you found useful to check for blacklisted ingredients, you should have access to this for 6 months too. The $1000 course you mentioned is a very advanced course for women who want to solve the most complex and persistent hair issues. This course is not recommended for everyone and we assure you that you absolutely do not need to enrol into it just to use the scanner tool. The GlamIQ app is available to download on the App Store all year round without joining Hairqare Lab. Thank you for sharing your perspective about Youtube as another source for this information. Much like mastering a musical instrument, while many videos and tutorials are freely available online, having a dedicated teacher who streamlines the process so you can avoid common pitfalls while having a supportive community around you will massively increase the chances of success. Our course aims to be that guide, sifting through the vast sea of hair care information to give you a concise, effective and fun learning experience. It simply helps you get to your goals a lot faster. That being said, some people have time to browse YouTube for days, months, and years. While others want all of the information delivered efficiently and effectively from experts who've already helped thousands of other women. They have a much deeper understanding of what each unique student should be focused on to achieve their unique goals and heal their unique problems. Hi Denis, thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am a little bit confused about this review as the Denis Duagi we have in our system joined HGL 1.0 in 2021 and was granted access to HGL 2.0 last year. Your profile photos look very similar so I assume this is the same Denis Duagi? If so, I have checked your account and see that you were granted HGL 2.0 and including all 12 modules. Perhaps you missed this as it is not on the front page of your library (we encourage our customers to finish the first 6 modules before exploring the advanced modules in HGL 2.0). If you check page 2 or page 3, you should be able to see it. If you have any more trouble accessing this, please feel free to email us and we can send you a link to a video walk-through to find the module 💜
