Throw-Away Customer's Experience with Zero Corporate Accountability…
I generally defer requests to rate companies. However, I can scarcely recall a time when I have experienced such incompetent and inept handling of the simplest of customer service matters. I emailed customer service to request the exchange of one Density hair product for another within 2 days of receiving my order. I had unknowingly ordered a duplicate of an item already in the trial kit I ordered. I mailed the duplicate item back to address listed in the email, as I was instructed, to receive the another product. USPS informed me the package I sent to HairMax experienced a "Delivery Exception" that would necessitate the package be returned to me. The delivery exception being, the company's address listed with the post office has an "Expired-Forwarding-Address". Yes... What in the world!?! How do company employees not know their own address? And by-the-way, this "dead" address was included in the closing of each email I received from HairMax customer service, including the one referenced below. After SIX emails, and being out of $7.20 for the already purchased return postage, I was told to take the matter up with "Another Customer Service". Because according to THIS "HairMax Team" that had been waisting my time AND money for the past 11 days... "Representatives are available to assist you Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. at 561-417-0200." Total ineptness with which I imagine is their ONE job, that of, assisting customers, with actual service. So yes, this customer (completely non-valued order # 41128) was very motivated to review my first experience with the HairMax Lexington Corporation. I have no idea how they stay in business operating in this manner. Don't they know how many to-the-contrary experiences it takes to alter a negative experience, not to mention a first impression? This is a shameless example of ZERO corporate accountability! I have no idea who reads these reviews. I hope one of the people it reaches is HairMax Co-Founders David & Alena Michaels, or Customer Service Manager Greg Riofrio. I took the time to read this company's mission and vision. Maybe the HairMax leadership will care how far off the mark they have been for this customer, even as the "Hairmax Customer Service Team" that interacted with me did not. Updated 02/02/2019: I decided to post this update. Giving credit where it is earned, is the right thing to do. Hours after my original post, I received multiple calls from the customer service department at HairMax, and also a call from R. Veliky, CEO of Lexington International. I returned Mr. Veliky's call. He was accountable and apologetic for everything I had experienced on behalf of the company. He was also interested in hearing the details of how things had gone wrong. I would say, as important to me, was him freely sharing multiple steps the company was now implementing ( Tech. fixes & staff training) to avoid a repeat of my experience. Additionally, the statements in the reply below from HairMax are accurate. My return troubles were handled without me having to do anything further. And, I received shipment notifications from UPS that 2 packages from HairMax were in route, I imagine these are the items I was trying exchange and the additional gifted items. So, I am pleased to say... in the end, there was AMPLE Corporate Accountability, and I am no longer a throw-away customer!

Thank you for your candid review, Lesley. It is truly unfortunate to have had that this situation unfold as it did and we apologize for the frustration it has caused; however, it did expose a glitch in our system during an upgrade that reverted our previous address in our email templates. This has since been corrected for all future inquiries via email. For your time we have shipped a free collection of our hair care line. Please let us know if there is anything more we can assist with to make your experience more satisfying.
