hairbrella.comReviews of hairbrella.com

I briefly interacted with them on Facebook and they now keep on spamming me with texts. I have emailed them countless times and reported them to the ICO but they do not stop despite their promises. A totally unprofessional company with appalling systems and controls. Too incompetent to remove my name and number. And they confused my number with another customer’s number, which is a huge data breach. Do not share any personal details with them as they can’t be trusted.

While the outer material is desirable, the concept is very flawed. Because of the lining. which is not satin, it makes the overall cap heavy. The sleep cap made my head sweat. The shower cap is ok, but still too heavy. The rain caps, while they will keep your hair dry, are much too heavy, and more suitable for snowy weather. Even at that, they would still be heavy. I had to give them all away because I’d removed the rags when received because I wanted to believe the reviews I’d read.

I tried two different swim caps in different sizes and neither of them kept my hair dry. When I tried to return for a refund, per company policy and well within the time limit, I was inundated with AI-generated emails purporting to be all about helping me but in reality gaslighting me by suggesting that I watch a video (I did) and exchange for a new model (I already did that once and did not want to continue to buy and try.) It was very difficult to get past this email thicket to get an actual return label so I can send them back for a refund. I am very disappointed because I expected more from this company.

I purchasing a rain hat from Hairbrella. Nice design and fit so, I purchased several different hats as Christmas gifts. I did not like the design and fit of those hats so I contacted Hairbrella and requested a return. It took three months to finally receive an email that the return had been approved. After promising a refund of the returned hats there was a disappearing act. Finally, nearly a year later, I just sent an email that I would never do business with them again. I am out $300 for nothing.

I emailed Hairbrella customer service today, Jan. 11, 2025, as they will NOT refund my money after returning unused and unopened merchandise to them. Just getting the run around... I ordered from Hairbrella online on Oct. 25, 2025, Order #325642. I ended up not needing their products. I called and emailed them directly and did everything they required to print USPS label they sent me to process a return and full refund. I sent them USPS tracking information proving they received the $173.83 worth of their unopened AND unused merchandise on Nov. 17, 2025. Hairbrella is not honoring their own policy after making me jump through MANY, MANY hoops to do a proper return. I DO NOT WANT STORE CREDIT! I ONLY WANT IMMEDIATE FULL REFUND to the credit card used to make the purchase. I requested a full refund no later than COB, tomorrow, January 12, 2026.

I purchased a sun hat on December 23, 2025, with an estimated delivery date of December 30–31. After not receiving the item, I contacted customer service on January 7 to inquire about the status. I was then informed that the item is out of stock and was offered either a different color, which I did not want, or a refund to the original form of payment. I am leaving for vacation within the next week and had planned to bring the hat with me. It would have been helpful to be notified when the item went on backorder rather than learning this only after reaching out.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered infinity scarf hoods and have been trying to return them since 12/21. They won’t accept the return and keep giving me the run around. Their phone number also goes to a voicemail where they will supposedly call you back. The leave a review button on their official website also does not work. Save yourself the hassle. 1/1/26 update- apparently commenting on social media, BBB, Trustpilot, Shopify, and the CEO’s IG gets a response. In less than 24 hours, they have emailed, called, and reached out via dm to tell me they will give me a complete refund without needing to return the products as well as a $20 credit to my account. So, they have made it right, and for that I give them credit. They have asked me to remove my trustpilot and social media comments and reviews as well. I will not do that, but I will update them with this follow up. Still frustrating that it took me doing all of that for them to finally refund my money. If you have lots of time on your hands to deal with chasing a refund, then order at your own risk. They have given me my money back.

Not great quality materials. The waterproof scarf felt tough and rough. And the return process so far has been a total pain. You have to be ‘approved’ for a return and send photos of the items? Seriously? And a day later, we are still waiting to be ‘approved’ when it was completely unopened and unused. And of course they will charge you for the return on top of the hassle. We won’t be buying from them again.
