Dear Joanne, We are glad you ultimately received your refund — that was always our intention. We want to address the PayPal point directly since you've raised it publicly. You are correct that a seller can respond to a dispute through PayPal's interface. What you may not be aware of is that HabitONE processes payments through Shopify, which acts as the intermediary — we do not have direct access to a standalone PayPal merchant account. Our ability to interact with active disputes is limited to the channel Shopify provides, which is responding to the dispute, not independently issuing refunds outside of it. We do not dispute that this process was frustrating and took far too long. We communicated what we understood to be true about our system's limitations. We did not act in bad faith. We are sorry the product caused you discomfort — that is a genuine concern we take seriously. We wish this experience had gone differently for both sides.
