I do like this journal and it’s…
I do like this journal and it’s presence has been a daily reminder to meditate. However, I’m disappointed in the writing sections, specifically within phase 3. From days 22-66 (which is a large chunk), the writing section is the same three questions. I don’t always have something to write there and often leave it blank, which is a waste. I’d rather the questions be different (maybe not everyday). But just to give you other things to think and write about. They could relate to the passages on the left side. Often times, the left side will ask questions for you to think about or a ritual to practice. But the right side doesn’t really give you the opportunity to write about what you had done. My only other beef with this journal is the fact that it is littered with grammatical errors. I’m not so sure they had an editor. “Four things you are currently feeling, like the breeze on your skin, your the table your hand is resting on.” I also don’t like when the left side has a promotion (ie. our favorite podcasts). Feels like I am reading an ad. Put those in the back of the book.
