Overall a good knife
Overall a good knife, but not sure about the finger hole or the handle. It is sharp and cuts well but I have yet to see how the edge lasts and how easy it is to sharpen. You can only judge a knife after a year, not a week.

I love the heft of the knives
I love the heft of the knives. The balance is exquisite. The larger one is even handy for cleaning out peppers and other small vegetables. The smaller one of course, is light and nimble. I demand a knife that slices. Unlike most amateurs; I slice instead of chopping. Onions are a snap with the sharp edge slicing.
Unfortunately, they do not hold an edge for long! With that said, they sharpen easily. But, my time is better spent cutting/slicing instead of constantly sharpening.

In my opinion. For the record, I purchased a Huusk knife believing it to be the only knife I would need. The Haarko claims to be the ONLY knife I would need. Somebody is not being honest. One other thing, it/they appear to be Japanese; they are both MADE in Western China not Japan.

Our customers should know the manufacturer of the item they ordered. However, there are sometimes numerous steps that the product goes through.
Ie: Japanese specialists design the product, the logistics of the product is done in Lithuania, and fulfillment centers located around the world, such as in Canada. This can change the location of the item, not necessarily where it is made.
When we order the items you put in, we choose the closest, readily available, highest quality product from a warehouse. The warehouse may be in China. We wish to provide the best service to all of our customers, so we choose which warehouse provides the quickest and best service.
Apple is similar to this model. You purchase a new phone that was designed in California but made in China.
