Good product, checkout a little confusing
For the most part this was a good experience. I liked the selection of styles and found a pair I liked. I have a older design that seems to be discontinued but found one very similar. My biggest issue was at checkout. As I filled out my information I used the auto-fill and got the shop app prompt for a verify code. As soon as I entered code it seemed to skip Gunnar checkout and go to shop app checkout. I was not able to enter the welcome first purchase discount code. I went ahead and completed the purchase. Just a little frustrated couldn't get the discount.

OK site
overall as expected but the "virtual try-on" was a bit glitchy when using it. Not as smooth as other sites.

This was my second time buying…
This was my second time buying prescription Gunnars. I've been using Gunnar's glasses since 2009. The first time around, service was great. I knew what was happening. Gunnar staff were responsive when I asked a question. This time, in buying a backup pair, the customer service was sadly lackluster. I asked two questions, the first of which was never answered, and the other question I had to ask multiple times. So, I must ask a third question: Is customer service a dying art form?

From our end, we only had 2 reachouts which were both replied to in a timely manner. They didn’t have the color frames for…
They didn’t have the color frames for the lenses I wanted. :/

Glasses Lost, took forever
Poor communication. Took over 45 days to get my prescription glasses and they were "lost". Lots of headaches to get them redone. That being said this was an anomaly. I have purchased dozens of glasses from gunnar without issue. Oh and Gunnar why did you send female child glasses as my mystery box, you clearly have my measurements lol

Website needs improvement
So many options with so little information about what suits me better. Also lack of comparison between products on the portal.. sizes aren’t clear and the guideline isn’t helpful.

Rough up frame
Got a prescription pair of the maverick. When I first open the box I noticed the frames were twisted, so I figured I would just put them back. As I tried to untwist them the one screw striped the thread and came out. So to fix I had to take a longer screw(to grab deeper threads) from another pair to bring the frame back together. So yeah, I love the blue light filter but the lenses were not ground down enough and were forced to fit frame. After half hour of bending this and that, they are mostly straight.

Where’s the case?
I missed the case. A simple pair of readers costing more than $100 should come with a protective case…not a baggie.
