I recently purchased 2 pairs of Vertex reading glasses. The frames cracked in the same place. I’ve owned them for less than a month when they cracked. Emailed their support address and no response.

This is like my 10th pair of Gunnars that I've ordered for myself of family/friends. This pair, however, is supposed to be prescription. The website did not indicate where to enter Rx. I emailed support immediately w/ the Rx, no response. The order was sent out the next day, so I emailed again to verify that it did indeed have the Rx, no response. I called and it went to voicemail for a person that no longer works there. I left a message for the new person as indicated by the voicemail, no response. Got glasses, afraid to open them since I doubt that they're the right Rx.

I'm giving them a 1 out of 5 because of their poor customer service. I ordered their Clip-On product along with prescription Vayper. I was thrilled when they came in the mail. I got my prescription Vayper but instead of getting the Clip-On, they sent me non-prescription Cruz (which I can't even use because I need prescription. I've tried to contact support multiple times. The 1st time I tried to contact them I got a response where they asked for my order number. I sent them my order number but I did not get a response after that. I've tried to contact them 2 more times after that but both times I did not even get a response. If I were to rate their Vayper in isolation of their poor customer service, I would give it a 4 out of 5. I like the fact that its big lenses that look almost frameless and it covers my peripheral vision as well. The only thing I don't like about it is that it feels somewhat fragile. It bends really easily in the centre, although that might be intentional to allow for headset support. As for how they help my eyes, let me start of by saying that I've used Gunnars for a few years now (A couple of years ago, I bought the BLPF 35 and BLFP 65 Havok, both prescription (another side note: the little plastic prongs near the hinges of the Havok break easily)). They do somewhat help reduce eyestrain but they still do not completely prevent insomnia if I use a digital device at night. I've tried it while also using a blue light reducing app on my device and it still affects my ability to sleep. These do help reduce the headaches that I get though so they're still fairly helpful.

Did not receive what I ordered. I have sent emails to customer service.
