They are good

Great customer service, and an excellent product line. I went through several inexpensive readers and several mid-priced designer sunglasses before finding this brand. The other readers never felt comfortable after hours of use, and the other sunglasses always came with a marked loss of visual clarity as a tradeoff for the dark lenses. The Gunnar amber readers (Jewel frame) are comfortable for an entire 12-hr shift at work where I watch ICU patients' telemetry monitors all night. The amber tint reduces eye fatigue considerably. It is definitely noticeable. I got a scratch on my first pair recently, and didn't even consider getting a cheaper pair to replace them. I replaced them with a new pair of the same ones. The sunglasses (Intercept frame) are really great, too. The fit is perfect, and so is the clarity. I don't find that my vision is muddled by these. Instead, my view through them is crisp, with good contrast and high detail. That's very important to me when I hike. I finally also bought the darkest amber ones (Amber Max) in the only style available for non-prescription (Intercept again), and I wear them on my way home in the mornings after work to help me be ready for sleep each morning. Again, the effect has been noticeable. I find these so soothing that I'm tempted to wear them all the time. It isn't healthy to block ALL blue light ALL the time, though, so I don't. We need some exposure to the full light spectrum for optimal eye health and mental health. I did also buy, in my first order, a pair of the gaming/computer glasses in the Riot frame for the rare opportunities I get to use my PS4. I like them, but they aren't as useful on the daily as the other three are. I consider my Gunnar amber readers essential workwear, and the sunglasses and AmberMax glasses are important pieces of near-daily gear, too. I'm very happy with all four pairs of Gunnar glasses I've bought.
