I've ordered prescription Gunnar's…
I've ordered prescription Gunnar's three times now, with two out of three orders containing two pairs of glasses. Every experience, except for the third, has been fantastic. This time, it feels like everything is inadequate. 1. The time to actually deliver was an additional week... to the delayed times anticipated by COVID-19. There were no additional status updates to let me know there was a delay. To make things worse, my husband placed an order on the same day and received his within a week of placing the order. (He also received the shipping notification AFTER he received the package in the mail.) 2. UPS notified me that I had a package coming a full day before Gunnar. That's right. I received the notification from Gunnar that my package was on it's way AFTER I received my glasses. Yes, I did pay for next day delivery, because I needed my glasses. 3. Customer service's actions were nice, but the person who responded to me was petty when I missed an email. Mind you, the email in question was sent not as a response to my response, but as a response to their own response. 4. This one is the reason I'm even leaving a review. I would have let the rest slide because I think that the amber tint and curved design really does reduce the stress on my eyes.... I've ordered a pair of clear and a pair of tinted from Gunnar since they started offering both options. I order clear because I need to be able to see colors accurately for my profession, especially white. Last time I ordered clear, they were actually clear. The new "clear" still has a tint! On the website, clear is described as: "For discreet protection without the amber tint." It's a lie. 100% you can see the light amber tint in the lenses. I'm not happy that I spent $140 (normally $230) on a pair of glasses that don't do what I need them to do.
